Welcome!
editHello! I noticed your contributions and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. You are welcome to edit anonymously; however, creating an account is free and has several benefits (for example, the ability to create pages, upload media and edit without one's IP address being visible to the public).
As you get started, you may find this short tutorial helpful:

editHello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Dora Richter—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 07:27, 6 August 2023 (UTC)
- What didn't you find constructive about it? We can't discuss it if you don't specify. As for the version that was restored, it does not seem to mention the subject's original name anywhere, which would be inappropriate for an encyclopedia article. I added the appropriate reference for the original name (the reference was there already, but I hadn't pasted the reference link). 2604:2000:2FC0:F:E123:5FF5:2949:5DEF (talk) 00:55, 16 August 2023 (UTC)

editHello, I'm SpringProof. I noticed that you recently removed content from The Haunting (1963 film) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. signed, SpringProof talk 20:52, 4 March 2024 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Neuropol. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Homer seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Thanks,NeuropolTalk 15:03, 1 April 2024 (UTC)
- Not at all. The description of Homer as not being verified as a real person is given in the article itself, just not the beginning, where it should be for clarity. 2604:2000:2FC0:F:E123:5FF5:2949:5DEF (talk) 00:38, 4 April 2024 (UTC)

editHello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Barghest, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. thetechie@enwiki: ~/talk/ $ 03:04, 1 May 2024 (UTC)
- It's impossible to know what you mean by "did not appear to be constructive" or to discuss the reversion without knowing what was changed or why. 2604:2000:2FC0:F:E123:5FF5:2949:5DEF (talk) 23:31, 8 May 2024 (UTC)

editWelcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in James Semple, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Ygolygydd (talk) 20:30, 10 September 2024 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users.
