You are welcome to continue editing articles without logging in, but many editors recommend that you create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits such as the ability to create articles. For a full outline and explanation of the benefits that come with creating an account, please see this page. If you edit without a username, your IP address (64.202.138.67) is used to identify you instead.
In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. No, you're right. There are two meanings of closed at play here. A clopen set is an idea from general topology. A set S is clopen if it an open set and a closed set at the same time. On the other hand, closure is an algebraic property. For example, the set of even numbers is closure under multiplication, i.e. the product of two even numbers is again an even number. — Fly by Night (talk) 19:28, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
Big Boy Restaurants
editThank you for your additions to the Big Boy Restaurants article. While Frisch's and Big Boy Japan are both unaffiliated with the Big Big Restaurant Group, there is not currently enough material to support splitting Big Boy Japan to a separate article. I have considered contacting the company about material published in reliable sources;it would not be original research but NPOV would be a concern. I am unable to find an email address. There is a Big Boy Japan article in the Japanese version of Wikipedia. It is mostly dated and trivial. Still, the Japanese Big Boy operation deserves to be expanded. For now Big Boy Japan is probably best served in the Big Boy article. Thanks again for your contributions and please let me know your thoughts and ideas. — βox73 (৳alk) 05:09, 15 July 2021 (UTC)
