editHello, 69.137.228.186. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 23:29, 27 July 2020 (UTC)
- The content you are adding is neither sources, nor neutral. Please use the talk page to request changes as described in the message above.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 23:29, 27 July 2020 (UTC)
Continued conflict of interest edits
editAs advised above, you need to follow Wikipedia's conflict of interest guidelines when editing articles in which you are connected. If you are acting as part of your employment in making these edits, whether paid or as a volunteer, you must declare such in compliance with the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. Continued addition of unsourced promotional edits will result in either a block of this IP or the article being protected against such edits to ensure you are complying with our policies and guidelines.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 17:56, 28 July 2020 (UTC)
- The information added was all true, and had been posted for years until user Ponyo started repeatedly taking it down. All information is easily verifiable.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.137.228.186 (talk • contribs) .
- Your reply completely fails to address any of the policies and guidelines provided above. It doesn't matter how long content has been extant in an article, if it does not comply with our policies regarding sourcing, paid edits, conflicts of interest and the prohibition on promotional edits the material can and should be removed. As an Administrator (and a long time editor), I cannot be any more clear as to how your edits are inappropriate. The onus is 100% on you to 1) review the material in the links provided 2) make the required disclosures regarding conflicts and 3) use the article talk page to request edits as opposed to editing the article directly.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 20:40, 28 July 2020 (UTC)
- The continued deletion of easily verifiable information is clearly biased; as is the insertion of FALSE information such as incorrect date of birth and long-since debunked "accusations." This is irresponsible editing.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.137.228.186 (talk • contribs)
- I have no idea why you keep posting your replies randomly at the top of the page; regardless, as you continue to add blocks of unsourced promotional text to Michelle Kosinski, you are now blocked from editing the article directly. Directions for how to request edits have been provided to you multiple times and you are simply ignoring them. That is no longer an option, per the block note below.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 21:21, 28 July 2020 (UTC)

editHello, I'm LuK3. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Michelle Kosinski have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. -- LuK3 (Talk) 21:13, 28 July 2020 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
"All content must be cited from reliable sources that are unconnected with the subject and have a reputation for fact checking." You are free to discuss content and sourcing on the article talk page. Please read WP:NPA and WP:aspersions --Deepfriedokra (talk) 22:31, 28 July 2020 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
