Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to The Inspector General (1949 film), did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you.   Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contribution(s). However, as a general rule, while user talk pages permit a small degree of generalisation, other talk pages such as Talk:The Grayzone are strictly for discussing improvements to their associated main pages, and many of them have special instructions on the top. They are not a general discussion forum about the article's topic or any other topic. If you have questions or ideas and are not sure where to post them, consider asking at the Teahouse. Thanks. Synorem (talk) 03:59, 2 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from using talk pages for general discussion of this or other topics. They are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways, based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines; they are not for use as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. See the talk page guidelines for more information. Thank you. Synorem (talk) 04:11, 2 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make personal attacks on other people, as you did at User talk:Synorem. Comment on content, not on fellow editors. Amortias (T)(C) 16:01, 3 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Request Unblock

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Nothing I did was disruptive. I made a report of some obvious rule-violating behavior. This appears to be nothing more than someone abusing admin power on behalf of his friend. 73.206.161.228 (talk) 22:32, 4 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Requests with personal attacks are not considered, and also are a poor strategy when blocked for personal attacks. 331dot (talk) 22:34, 4 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You don't get to remove declined unblock request. If you want to try again you need to post another request. Amortias (T)(C) 22:37, 4 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Do tell @Amortias: @331dot:. What constitutes a "personal attack" in pointing out the obvious bad behavior by the blocker? Or is merely pointing out that something was done in violation of policy a "personal attack"? It sounds more like Wikipedia admins behave like cops towards someone of my skin color.
Claiming an abuse of power without providing any evidence is casting aspersions which is in its own right an attack against an editor. Making a followup claim of racist behavior based on your skin color when we have no knowledge or ability to conclude this is again casting aspersions. You should seriously reconsider how your planning on continuing to edit here if you do choose to do so and id strongly advise you to reconsider how you communicate.
