Wikipedia:Help desk
editI notice that a couple of times you tried to delete your earlier threads from Wikipedia:Help desk. The practice is that we leave threads to be archived. The only exception is that a contributor might be allowed to delete a recently-asked question if nobody has yet had a chance to answer it. If a thread has had contributions from other editors, it is left for others to read (or if necessary to correct or add further replies). I hope you have luck with discussing your question on the Films WikiProject. - David Biddulph (talk) 09:45, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
- Please do not continue doing this. It is considered disruptive and also a form of refactoring talk comments which is vandalism. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 17:31, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
- Refactoring talk comments is not vandalism if it’s done in the context of deleting the whole question. You are allowed to remove the question. Show me otherwise. 81.155.230.3 (talk) 00:17, 24 December 2022 (UTC)
- "Refactoring is a redrafting process in which talk page content is moved, removed, revised, restructured, hidden, or otherwise changed." maybe if you actually read the link I'm giving you then you would know what I'm saying. This is literally the very first sentence of that page. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 01:00, 24 December 2022 (UTC)
- Yes I understand what it means, your quote was irrelevant. I had to answer this question myself because your link concerned the meaning of ‘refactoring’ (as you’ve also reiterated for some reason), as opposed to whether ‘refactoring _comments_’ was allowed, see WP:TPO. Maybe if you actually read my question you wouldn’t be having such a hard time here. 81.155.230.3 (talk) 07:37, 24 December 2022 (UTC)
- Emphasis on removed mine. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 01:00, 24 December 2022 (UTC)
- Emphasis on refactoring COMMENTS. 81.155.230.3 (talk) 07:37, 24 December 2022 (UTC)

editPlease stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at Wikipedia:Help desk, you may be blocked from editing. You were warned by David Biddulph and then me to stop removing help desk questions that were answered and yet you continued. Stop. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 17:35, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
- My questions weren’t answered. If i’m allowed to delete the page on the basis that it is answered, i should be fine deleting it. 81.155.230.3 (talk) 17:47, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
- You aren't allowed to do so though. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 17:49, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
- why not 81.155.230.3 (talk) 17:50, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
- you’re allowed to delete it if it hasn’t been answered 81.155.230.3 (talk) 17:50, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
- Yes because you aren't removing anyone else's comments. If it's been answered then you can't remove it since you're removing other's talk comments. Read WP:REFACTOR. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 17:55, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
- They are not answers. They are comments. There’s a difference. 81.155.230.3 (talk) 17:57, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
- It’s the help desk, for asking and answering questions… not to have a discussion. Therefore if the question hasn’t been answered, there’s no problem removing it. 81.155.230.3 (talk) 17:59, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
- Am I to take your silence as a green light to delete the posts? 81.155.230.3 (talk) 19:03, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
- No. Wait for them to be archived. - David Biddulph (talk) 19:11, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
- What for, david? They haven’t been answered. I get the impression there’s a conflict of interest here given i’ve met the criteria to delete the post. 81.155.230.3 (talk) 20:52, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
