Hello, I'm Optakeover. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Meghan Markle, but you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Optakeover(U)(T)(C) 13:22, 16 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did with this edit to Meghan Markle. Thank you. Optakeover(U)(T)(C) 13:22, 16 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm NZ Footballs Conscience. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Meghan Markle, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. You need to supply the source, just saying it has been published a number of times isn't good enough. You can't add information to a BLP without sources. It also may pay for you to read WP:BLPGOSSIP, we don't want to be recording every relationship she has had, just the important ones. If you feel that her relationship with the chef should be on the page, maybe take it too the talk page NZFC(talk) 19:44, 16 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

This is your only warning; if you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced or poorly sourced defamatory content into an article or any other Wikipedia page again, as you did at Meghan Markle, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. You have been told how to reference the information, you aren't providing a reference, that is the problem. Telling others how to find it isn't the same as you providing the information yourself. You can't provide it in the edit summary, it has to be in the article. NZFC(talk) 20:25, 16 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to 2011 England riots, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you.
