I'm not sure what the problem was. Mary Hill was an individual. Cnoc Mairi and Cnoc Mhoire are Mary's Hill or the Hill of Mary (Moire often being used to denote the Virgin Mary). When a suitable Gaelic name is agreed it is quite appropriate to use it. To give an obviously erroneous one is not appropriate.
