editHello, I'm Sirdog. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Dawson College shooting—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. —Sirdog (talk) 00:37, 24 September 2021 (UTC)
Please do not create, maintain or restore hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at Assault pistol. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. Please do not disrupt Wikipedia. Continued disruption will be met with being blocked from editing, or other sanctions. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia to learn more about this project and how you can contribute constructively. Thank you. Loafiewa (talk) 00:54, 24 September 2021 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Beretta Cx4 Storm. Loafiewa (talk) 00:59, 24 September 2021 (UTC)

- Referring to one of the warnings above, you have responses to your Help Desk question. To add to that, your being an expert means one thing. You have the ability to understand the reliable sources on the topic you want to write about. The sandbox that is mentioned is a place for you to practice editing until you have produced content that can be included in the encyclopedia. The talk page of the article is the place to discuss what you know that should be included but your knowledge must be supported by sources. One possible idea is to write a newspaper or magazine article explaining what you know, and if it is accepted by a reliable publication, you can ask on the talk page id your content can be used as a source. However, you would have a conflict of interest so you could not simply edit the article using your article as a source.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 21:28, 5 November 2021 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
