Welcome!
editHello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions so far. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.
Here are some links to pages you may find useful:

- Simplified Manual of Style
You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:
- Create new pages and rename pages
- Edit semi-protected pages
- Upload images
- Have your own watchlist, which shows when articles you are interested in have changed
Note that in order for the first three features to be available, you must have had an account for a certain number of days and made a certain number of edits.
If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (98.113.89.186) is used to identify you instead.
I hope that you, as a Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).
Happy editing! paul2520 (talk) 15:02, 28 October 2018 (UTC)

editHello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Canaan Banana, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. The mass-scale tagging of articles is wholly unnecessary and in many ways disruptive, especially when some of the tags have been placed where there is no merit. Such as on Janet Banana, as a First Lady of a country, that in itself makes her notable enough for an article and therefore the suggested move is also unnecessary. I understand that you are relatively new to editing here on Wikipedia, so I thought it would be helpful to give you a heads-up. editPlease stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. I explained thoroughly why I reverted the changes, but you have chosen to ignore my gesture. Chieftain Tartarus (talk) 17:56, 1 December 2018 (UTC) Chieftain Tartarus (talk) 17:56, 1 December 2018 (UTC)

editPlease do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. editPlease refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Marianna Hill. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. There's a section of Ms Hill's Talk page which explains that LDS researches have used California state records to verify her birth in Santa Barbara USA. That trumps her remark in any interview, one of the weakest forms of reference. Tapered (talk) 06:40, 13 February 2019 (UTC)

- @Tapered :: You are right. The California Birth Registry (see here), which I thought was inaccessible without access to Ancestry.com but this is not the case, does confirm she was born in Santa Barbara, California, not Santa Barbara, Portugal. I just never considered she would make something up like that. Thanks. 98.113.89.186 (talk) 22:28, 15 February 2019 (UTC)
- With all due respect, you don't know much about actresses! She's being playful. Tapered (talk) 01:11, 17 February 2019 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
