editWelcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page List of shipwrecks in 1957 has been reverted.
Your edit here to List of shipwrecks in 1957 was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links in references which are discouraged per our reliable sources guideline. The reference(s) you added or changed (http://pakistan-national-shipping.blogspot.de/2013/05/east-west-steamship-co.html?m=1) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 20:07, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
Hello, I'm XLinkBot. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to List of maritime disasters in the 20th century have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links.

- Blogs are not reliable sources. Please find and use better sources. Mjroots (talk) 20:13, 11 August 2017 (UTC)
missing a salt pan
editI reverted your edit to Wikipedia talk:Requests for comment as that talk page is for discussing the RfC page, not to request comment. Please instead post your request for an article at WP:REQUEST. In regards to your salt pan request, please also read WP:GEOLAND. Chris Troutman (talk) 13:54, 16 October 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks, I hope the new place is the correct one. The problem is that I don't know the name of this feature.--A11w1ss3nd (talk) 14:14, 16 October 2019 (UTC)
- Yes, that looks correct. Now the question will be finding source material about it and if the subject is notable. Rather than a new article, content might be started in the Goldfield, Nevada article. Chris Troutman (talk) 14:31, 16 October 2019 (UTC)
An article you recently created, OneZoomis not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 12:51, 25 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Onel5969: I updated the draft (Draft:OneZoom 2). Now, it is shorter and strictly neutral. It has more than three, highly reliable secondary sources, such as Current Biology and BBC. I think it is now obviously suitable to be published. Do I really need to wait up to 3 months or can I move it to the article namespace? By the way, the linked interview with one of OneZoom's key people is not a source but additional information. --A11w1ss3nd (talk) 14:39, 25 February 2023 (UTC)
- Nope, no need to wait. Nice job on updating it. Accepted it into mainspace. Onel5969 TT me 01:16, 26 February 2023 (UTC)

The article is clearly incorrect in several subtle ways. Can an amendment be made? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 42.3.195.251 (talk) 03:10, 24 April 2023 (UTC)
