editWelcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page San Holo has been reverted.
Your edit here to San Holo was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8B5AOljhsY) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. music or video) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 19:03, 27 July 2021 (UTC)
Hello, I'm JalenFolf. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, TheFatRat, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please source genres. Thank you. Jalen Folf (talk) 16:01, 29 July 2021 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at TheFatRat, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Again, source your genres! Jalen Folf (talk) 16:20, 29 July 2021 (UTC)
- In addition, none of the categories you tried to add exist. Please stop editing from old revisions! Jalen Folf (talk) 16:21, 29 July 2021 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at TheFatRat, you may be blocked from editing. Jalen Folf (talk) 16:29, 29 July 2021 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on TheFatRat. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Jalen Folf (talk) 16:33, 29 July 2021 (UTC)

editHello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to TheFatRat, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. You've just been repeating the same unreliable source addition as last year. Please stop doing this! Thank you! Jalen Folf (talk) 23:31, 21 July 2022 (UTC)
Please understand that you can't upload an entire copyrighted work to Wikipedia, even if you attempt to use it under WP:NFCC policy. You can upload a sample of a work if it is pertinent to the text in which you intend to use it and if you comply with all aspects of WP:NFCC. With respect, you've had a great many files deleted or tagged for deletion on Commons. I don't think you have a grasp of copyright policies on this project. I would ask that you please pause your uploads until you gain a better understanding. If you have questions, let me know. Thanks, --Hammersoft (talk) 15:48, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
- As an example of what I'm talking about, you just tagged this file as {{PD-old}}[1]. While a particular piece of music might be so old as to be no longer under copyright (for example all the works of Mozart), a particular performance of a piece can be copyrighted. This playing of this piece likely still enjoys copyright protection. Without proof that this particular recording is so old that it has an expired copyright, we have to presume it's still copyrighted. --Hammersoft (talk) 15:53, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
Wikipedia and copyright
editHello ABAL1412! Your additions to FC Barcelona have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 15:53, 22 December 2022 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Barça 1st song.mp3
editThanks for uploading File:Barça 1st song.mp3. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

editThank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In your recent edit to Titanic (1997 film), you added links to an article which did not add content or meaning, or repeated the same link several times throughout the article. Please see Wikipedia's guideline on links to avoid overlinking. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 16:48, 30 December 2022 (UTC)
