Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because your account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  • Provide a new username.

To do this, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Hammersoft (talk) 01:15, 14 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Requested username:

Request reason:

Out of ignorance I did put the other user name and I thought that it would be okay. I do not take any compensation in any form. I understand clearly the reason why I was blocked for and I admit to this stupid mistake and I acknowledge that I must use a username that doesn't represent any company or to advertise it. My intentions was to contribute in updating any page on Wikipedia with additional information wherever it is needed and to benefit others from those informations. I hope you consider my request so I can do better for the community

Decline reason:

Despite your claim to the contrary, I have verified you do indeed count as a paid editor (WP:PAID). Additionally, this edit was blatant spam, see WP:SPAM. Yamla (talk) 11:31, 14 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

How can you know that I am a paid editor? I already told you that I am not benefiting at all from what I am posting here or editing at all and I sincerely confirm it. you have no proof that I am taking money or any form of benefits. I assure you that I am not benefiting from any compensation at all. I am not sure how to proof it to you since we are both behind a screen. AGTCTrends (talk) 11:44, 14 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Accept reason:

I have renamed your account. As you seem to have done as Hammersoft requested and committed to not making edits related to your businesses, I will remove the block. 331dot (talk) 09:44, 16 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Pretty easy to tell via off-wiki evidence that there's a Joseph Doumit who is directly involved with https://agtctrends.com/ and http://arcosalbe.com/. Are you seriously claiming this is not the case?!? --Yamla (talk) 11:51, 14 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Yes and those are my websites. Which means I am the owner of those businesses and you can check that. is that a problem still? AGTCTrends (talk) 13:27, 14 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

One open unblock request at a time, please. The fact that you are the owner of those businesses means you have a direct conflict of interest (WP:COI) and do indeed count as a paid editor (WP:PAID). --Yamla (talk) 14:03, 14 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Sorry I am new in this system so. I now understand your point of view. Still my intentions was for the good and not for the bad.
Thanks. AGTCTrends (talk) 14:47, 14 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
I think before an unblock request for a rename were granted you would need to agree never to edit any articles in regards to your businesses in any respect, whether directly related to your companies or tangentially. If you want to contribute to Wikipedia in ways unrelated to your businesses, that would be acceptable. I can't grant the unblock request since I'm the blocking admin, but it's what I would expect if I were to grant the request. --Hammersoft (talk) 19:43, 14 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hello there,
I agree and never will do that at all and I assure you that. Thanks in advance. AGTCTrends (talk) 19:48, 14 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
What will you edit about? 331dot (talk) 08:43, 15 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
I will try to edit the tasks suggested to me and to benefit the community with the updated information that I will discover. I hope that this is clear! AGTCTrends (talk) 23:53, 15 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
