An article you recently created, Spectrum (rocket), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). Pay attention to details

edit

Hi, I've seen that you've become more active in the spaceflight pages, and I would like to remind you to pay attention to some important details like updating the sources whenever you make any edit like updating the status of a launch, keeping the payloads in alphabetical order, checking for duplicates, distinguishing when batches of satellites deserve a single entry or multiple entries and so on. It's nice to have an extra helping hand but not if that means double checking every new edit. Thanks. Fm3dici97 (talk) 12:50, 21 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Abdullah1099 less than 24h after this message I see that you keep adding edits without caring for details: on top of them, the update of the Chandrayaan-3 launch date without updating the source, and the addition of a launch of Jilin-1 satellites in June 2023 with empty links ignoring that a page for the Jilin-1 constellation already exists. Again, since this kind of edits require a constant double check to correct mistakes and add extra references your work might be flagged as disruptive with all the consequences of the case. Please, modify your behavior. Fm3dici97 (talk) 09:54, 22 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Missing edit summaries

edit

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that one or more recent edit(s) you made did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing →   Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Lack of sources and conventions ignored

edit

Hi, I hate to repeat myself but here we go again. Whenever you make any change to the spaceflight timeline, you have to:

  • Add an update source that confirms the change you're making, any information has to be supported by external sources and not solely by the fact that you read it somewhere;
  • In every monthly section order the launches first by date, then alphabetically by launch vehicle, and finally alphabetically by the name of the payload.

Not respecting these rules means forcing other editors to constantly double check any change. I've already tried to advise you about these details above, please behave accordingly. Fm3dici97 (talk) 09:49, 7 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Lack of sources (again)

edit

Hi, I'm reaching out to you because once again I noticed that you keep making edits in the spaceflight schedule without updating the sources. I would like to remind you that ANY kind of modification of that schedule has to be supported by updated sources, it's not sufficient to move things around according to your own personal knowledge. If you don't do it, other users are forced to track down your edits and intervene to correct your mistakes. This is the third time that I remind you this, so from now on I will treat any continuation of this behavior as an intentional disregard for Wikipedia rules and act accordingly. Unsourced edits

edit

It has been one year, and you keep vandalizing the spaceflight launch pages with unsourced modifications all the time. Every time you make a change, the source you include should support the change you made. It is not enough to make changes just because someone told you, it's not enought to make changes just because you read it somewhere, it is not enought to make changes just by copypasting sources from a similar launch. On top of that, you keep ignoring the very basic convention of ordering launches alphabetically, by launch vehicle first and by payload for the same launch vehicle, despite multiple attempts to remind you of that. Please, pay attention to this or I will once again be forced to open a procedure against you in the administrators' board to restrict your edit permissions. Sources for your edits

edit

Hi, I've seen that in many cases for upcoming Chinese launches you've attached as source the Chinese Wikipedia. I'm sorry but that's not a valid source, either you link the original source for that specific launch, or you leave the launch out. (And to be fair, I know the guy who is taking care of the Chinese Wikipedia, half of the time his edits are based on his personal speculations, so he and the page are not to be conisdered reliable sources). Please update the sources or remove the launches that cannot be linked to a reliable source. Thanks, Fm3dici97 (talk) 10:06, 30 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please don't remove them because it is part of Wikipedia but in Chinese and both are similar and it gave us a speculation and Tentitive launch time and if the launch does not occur at the given time in the month and no updates come from the specific launch then i will remove them. THANK YOU. Abdullah1099 (talk) 16:39, 30 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Abdullah1099 all the things published in Wikipedia must come from a reliable source, without exceptions. Cross-referencing a Wikipedia in another language whose contents come from guesses and speculations is the opposite of using a reliable source. So either you find an alternative source to the Chinese Wikipedia, or you remove the launch. Fm3dici97 (talk) 07:52, 31 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

The article List of star systems within 500-550 light-years has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

While the nearest star systems to Earth are regularly discussed as a group, there doesn't seem to be such list notability for these farther away. If this site can be believed, "There are 271,732 stars within 1,000 light-years of Earth which are visible in a backyard telescope." Are we really going to list them all by distance to Earth?

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I am not listing all stars in 1000 light years, i am only adding some variable stars and stars with planets, Supernova Candidate, etc. I am adding stars and expanding this to help the future generations. So, No need need of delete the article. Thank you. Abdullah1099 (talk) 14:04, 21 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

If the problem is that in 1000 ly is 2000+ Stars or every star can be seen by Amateur Astronomer or What. Abdullah1099 (talk) 09:36, 23 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Then first think of people who Catalogued every star is more hard than adding stars in the table like format is much much easy than Cataloguing every Stars. These list of stars are a tiny bit or less than 10% of what the peoples who Catalogued each stars and every thing has done. Abdullah1099 (talk) 09:39, 23 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Why you guys are becoming inhuman like. It's our duty to expand these list of stars within one ly to another ly to as much as 5,000+ ly as the more sources has come to us and more stars had already been Catalogued. Abdullah1099 (talk) 09:43, 23 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
why your mouth is shut up now what happened to you. Abdullah1099 (talk) 14:34, 26 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

The main problem is no reply come from other side and rude behaviour from this guy Fram. Abdullah1099 (talk) 16:27, 26 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
I think 3-4 days has gone but no reply has been given by other side and thus no identification of the problems. Thus, these kind of behaviour made this a kind of nonsense that no one can increase anything even many new information has come. Abdullah1099 (talk) 16:30, 26 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Regardless of Fram's behavior, you must not remove AfD notices while the discussion is still ongoing. jlwoodwa (talk) 16:35, 26 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Fantasy times

edit

Please stop adding fantasy times such as "5:79" into the List of spaceflight launches in July-December 2024. You've done it multiple times so if it's just a mistake I'm unsure how you would make the same mistake with several fantasy times that often. It's been adressed on the article's talk page already. 2001:4BC9:1F98:459E:B4D4:EED1:1F40:82ED (talk) 11:41, 28 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please use edit summaries

edit

Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks!
