editHello, I'm Joseph2302. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Template:Cr-IPL have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the help desk. Thanks. Joseph2302 (talk) 21:47, 10 April 2019 (UTC)
- Hi Joseph2302. I modified Template:Cr-IPL with the intent to fix the formatting issues caused by the TfD notification on pages where the template is used. Here are examples. I agree with your edit summary that the template is unnecessary, but I do not believe that the formatting of several pages should be disrupted while the TfD is in progress. That said, I did made a mistake in my edit by leaving in the noinclude tags I was using while testing/previewing changes. --Abgnac (talk) 23:23, 10 April 2019 (UTC)
- According to WP:TFDHOW, only templates that are substituted should use noinclude. Which doesn't apply here. Also having them as a "disruption" will hopefully cause people to fix the issue by not using the ridiculous templates. Withoit the noinclude, it shows editors about the TFD, so we can get a better consensus on it. Adding the noinclude is inconsistent with other TFDs, and so shouldn't be done. And someone will need to fix them in 2 days when it gets deleted, so the IPL fandom could just start now. Joseph2302 (talk) 06:10, 11 April 2019 (UTC)

Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!
editHello,
Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.
I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!
From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.
If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.
Thank you!
