Hello, I'm R0paire-wiki. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Southern Giants Brigades, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. R0paire-wiki (talk) 03:22, 13 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

The giant brigades are a Yemeni faction and have shown multiple pictures of them with the Yemeni flag they fought with the government sense 2014 against the Houthis and they have said multiple times that they are not separatist and they don’t fight for any southern movement meaning they fight under the Yemeni flag and fight in the west coast of Yemen and parts of marib the leader Abu Zara hasn’t shown any support for the south or has said they only fight for the south is mainly because of the misinformation that was spread on the internet and fake accounts that were made impersonating them and changing the logo caused a confusion which is A huge problem for the group its self in Yemen Abu yemen124 (talk) 03:30, 13 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Here’s some more source https://www.france24.com/en/live-news/20220128-uae-trained-giants-brigades-pull-out-of-key-yemen-battleground Abu yemen124 (talk) 03:34, 13 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm R0paire-wiki. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to 2022 Southern Yemen offensive have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Another article from the same source contradicts it. May not meet WP:RS; https://adennews.net/49880 R0paire-wiki (talk) 03:29, 13 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

https://www.france24.com/en/live-news/20220128-uae-trained-giants-brigades-pull-out-of-key-yemen-battleground Is this source good enough Abu yemen124 (talk) 03:33, 13 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yes, that is a WP:RS I was referring to. Though, it doesn't support the edit that they aren't supportive of the STC and exclusively pro-government. Coalitions tend to be a compromise of sides with different positions. R0paire-wiki (talk) 03:40, 13 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yes but they are a military group of the Yemeni government they don’t pledge themselves to be a secessionist group when they kicked the Houthis out of shawba the South Yemen flags that were placed up they took them down and replaced them with the Yemeni flag Abu yemen124 (talk) 03:57, 13 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
That analysis is WP:OR, if it doesn't explicitly state or imply it - then it doesn't support it. R0paire-wiki (talk) 04:02, 13 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
But it does support the edit if you read the entire report Abu yemen124 (talk) 03:58, 13 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Can you give me a quote from the source? As I cannot see it. R0paire-wiki (talk) 04:03, 13 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
https://www.arabnews.com/node/2447501/amp “Giants Brigades, backed by the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen, regained Bayhan, Ouselan, and Ain from the Houthis in Shabwa province in January 2022” Abu yemen124 (talk) 04:05, 13 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
That doesn't support the edit that they aren't aligned to the STC. It only states they are in the anti-houthi and pro-government coalition. Many sources state the giants are part of the PLC, of which the STC controls 3 of 8 seats.
A similar example would be the Kurdish SDF fighting alongside the Syrian Arab Army against ISIS. Their coalition together does not mean the SDF are pro-Assad, it simply means they fought together against ISIS. R0paire-wiki (talk) 04:22, 13 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Am from Yemen and I know people in Yemen and they’ve explained to me the entire thing that the giants were created way before the 2014 war by Ali Abdullah saleh to help fight in the west coast of Yemen to make a United Yemen Abu yemen124 (talk) 04:46, 13 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
It doesn't matter what anyone says or that you are from somewhere (and which would constitutes WP:OR if citing anecdotes). Your edits must be supported by reliable sources, that are verifiable that what is being cited is actually in the source. R0paire-wiki (talk) 05:10, 13 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
I given you more than enough sources. You keep saying is invalid this is why people don’t trust Wikipedia Abu yemen124 (talk) 07:31, 13 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Please read WP:RS, WP:OR and WP:V before editing further, it will help you stay on Wikipedia. All I can say is, if you have a think about the reasons I gave for why your edits are problematic, and use them as context for why people are told not to use Wikipedia for school, you should understand why the aforementioned policies exist. It's not for the fun of it, it's to maintain reliability where possible. R0paire-wiki (talk) 08:06, 13 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
I know but I come at you with source proof but you rather take peoples fake propaganda about the group and place it on here when the leader Abu Zara has been trying to bring Yemen together into one and has told the people he’s against separation of Yemen Abu yemen124 (talk) 22:35, 13 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
You came with a source that contradicted itself stating the opposite in another article at the bottom of it, and another 2 sources that didn't say what you claimed they did. It's becoming increasingly apparent you are editing with a POV without a reliable source to support it, which isn't allowed under WP:NPOV. R0paire-wiki (talk) 22:42, 13 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
But after all they are Yemeni force they don’t fight with the stc they are against the stc and and they pledge them selfs to the government of Yemen and the army of Yemen there leader Abu Zara has been battling this misinformation sense 2018 Abu yemen124 (talk) 03:39, 13 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
See comment above, it supports their inclusion in the anti-Houthi coalition, but is not indicative of not being STC-aligned. R0paire-wiki (talk) 03:41, 13 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
