Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Vrbovik has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. File permission problem with File:Logo of Horde Zla.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Logo of Horde Zla.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 20:05, 6 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello, just a heads-up that I redirected 178267 Sarajevo to its corresponding list of minor planets article since it fails to meet the guideline of WP:NASTRO. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Nadreality show logo.jpg

edit

Thank you for uploading File:Nadreality show logo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 23:28, 12 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Europa Universalis: Rome 2. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Replaceable fair use File:Operation Chameleon map.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Operation Chameleon map.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 23:28, 30 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Daesitiates concern

edit

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Daesitiates, a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 02:03, 22 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Brod, Bosnia and Herzegovina, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bosnian (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Some problems with factual errors

edit

Hi,

  • A while ago, you repeatedly added recent "census results" on ethnicities to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Example. The census said no such thing, and other reliable sources confirmed that the census did not report on ethnicity yet. You didn't respond to concerns on the talkpage, which is unfortunate; but I was hoping that the problem was over, since other editors have reverted to other numbers based on sources.
  • However, more recently you did this. You add a dubious claim about ethnicities but the source does not give any ethnic numbers. We can only assume that you know the source does not support the claim.

If this problem continues, you will be blocked. bobrayner (talk) 01:10, 26 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

  • Yes this time you are right the source was actually on the official page (leaked) but then removed. It's my fault for even posting it, the pop. info is however actually legit. This should not happen again. Also thanks for you time to say something. Thanks for understanding. Adnan Hz 97 (talk) 21:58, 26 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Independent Bosnia

edit

The article Independent Bosnia has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Tendentious unattributed partial content fork of Austro-Hungarian rule in Bosnia and Herzegovina

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Joy [shallot] (talk) 21:42, 27 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Balkans

edit

Another user noticed this edit and alerted me to it. I see you removed it with this edit, but it doesn't include an apology, rather it's accompanied with a strange new message that is ambiguous to say the least.

In a 2007 arbitration case, administrators were given the power to impose discretionary sanctions on any user editing Balkans-related articles in a disruptive way. If you engage in further inappropriate behaviour in this area, you may be placed under sanctions including blocks, a revert limitation or an article/topic ban. Thank you.

With this and with the tendentious "Independent Bosnia", you've spent up the assumption of good faith. Any further policy violations in this vein will not be met with lenience. --Joy [shallot] (talk) 08:42, 4 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Adnan Hz 97. As an uninvolved administrator checking on copyright issues, I wanted to thank you for removing the lyrics from your page. Unfortunately, Wikipedia has to be careful about copyright issues to protect the project and our reusers legally, as well as protecting the people whose content we may use. We do sometimes allow copyrighted content in articles under "fair use" as we apply it; you can see the policy and guideline on that at Wikipedia:Non-free content. Fair use relies in part on how much of the work you use, though, which makes songs a little hard - they're so short. :/ As a general rule of thumb, this "non-free content" is not allowed on our user pages, although I've never seen any issues from people using a single line or two from a copyrighted work in a quote. No non-free images on user pages at all. :) If you have any questions about this, I'm happy to talk about it further. You can leave a note on my talk page if you'd like or leave one right here, with [[User:Moonriddengirl]] next to your note. That'll help me not overlook it by giving me a notification. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 10:23, 6 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

File source problem with File:Džemal Bijedić.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:Džemal Bijedić.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant

edit

I think you may have inadvertently put Bosnia and Herzogovina in the wrong place in the infobox. It is not a NATO country yet, so would need to be added to the list of opponents outside that grouping. Could you also convert your footnote from a bare URL, please, using Wikipedia's edit cite templates? Bare URL footnotes are susceptible to link-rot, which will render them unusable if the links are broken. If you would like some simple instructions on how to do this, please ask me, as I have a template I can let you have to help with this. --P123ct1 (talk) 13:20, 23 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
Okay.. Hazbulator™ 13:40, 24 September 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for putting the country in the right place, but I think you misunderstood me about the footnote! I have just seen your edit summary saying you have converted the footnote TO a bare URL; it has to be converted FROM a bare URL. Here are some simple instructions:-

Composing footnotes using the WP cite templates
(Summary of WP:FOOTNOTES section 3.1.)
Please note that bare URL footnotes – i.e. footnotes that contain only the website http address – are susceptible to link-rot, which means that if the website moves to a new domain with a new URL, the link will be broken and readers will be unable to read the citation.
  1. First put the cursor at the point in the edit text where you want the footnote to go, then click "Cite" in the edit strip at the top of the Edit Page, then click "Templates" on the left, and a drop-down menu appears.
  2. Choose "cite web" or "cite news" (for articles and websites), "cite book" or "cite journal", click and a box comes up.
  3. Fill in the all details of the citation, then click "Preview" and "Show parsed preview" to see it looks right. (To correct anything, correct the box entries, then click the two "Previews" again.) In "cite book" remember to add the page number(s) of the book.
  4. Click "Insert" and the citation automatically goes into the edit text. (It may not go in at the exact point where the cursor is if you use Firefox or Chrome.)

Thanks. --P123ct1 (talk) 14:30, 24 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Unicode representation of Bosančica

edit

Greetings. I noticed you changed the article on the Bosnian Church to include a representation in Bosančica. Unfortunately, the representation you used is technically incorrect, as the Unicode Consortium has not (yet) encoded Bosančica as a separate script from ordinary Cyrillic; the bottom line is that the way Unicode technically works is that it encodes characters, not glyphs, so using ancient Greek and other unrelated characters to represent the glyphs of Bosančica is not a correct implementation of the Unicode standard. If you think I am in error, please join the discussion on that talk page so that the dispute can be resolved rationally. Thank you. Vorziblix (talk) 18:13, 6 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Replaceable fair use File:Sarajevo City Center in 2014.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Sarajevo City Center in 2014.jpg.

Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 20:20, 28 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Non-free rationale for File:United Nations Cartographic Section Map (No.) 3740 (Rev.) 5. 2006 of Western Balkans .png

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:United Nations Cartographic Section Map (No.) 3740 (Rev.) 5. 2006 of Western Balkans .png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 09:37, 19 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hvala unaprijed. Lijep pozdrav.

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite

edit

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 09:02, 6 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:15, 25 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading File:FK Sarajevo logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:05, 2 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Territorial organization of European countries.svg

edit

Hello Hazbulator! On Wikimedia Commons, I noticed your were able to modify the « Territorial organization of European countries.svg » map. And I also noticed France was presented as « unitary regionalized states ». The problem is that France should appear in blue as it is a « unitary and decentralized » Republic (1st article of its constitution). This is why I am asking for your help to correct this mistake the author made (I have no idea of how to do it, as well as I actually am from the French Wikipedia community). Thank you for doing it! --Medvev (talk) 19:32, 11 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Bosnia (early medieval polity), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ban (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

When making bold edits as you did on List of Serb countries and regions I would advice to go per Wikipedia:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle. Views on medieval Bosnia are different in various historiographies, but you also removed a piece of information about Republika Srpska, which seems like Wikipedia:I just don't like it. Please discuss first and do not give diffs like "pseudo-historical" because that is not a good way to go, in my book. If the POV pushing continues, I shall simply report a dispute. cheers Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 11:56, 25 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
