Battle of Pindi Bhattian

edit

Hi, AhdBhat. Welcome to Wikipedia!

Good show on your second article. I did a bit of cleanup on your article as named, and it's been tagged for further work - owing to weirdness with the English language, there were some issues with the language that suggested that the battle had not happened in the past. Don't worry about it too much - it's an easy fix for a weird, complicated language that I don't fully understand even after speaking it natively for about four decades. =)

Cheers, and enjoy your stay.

Hi, Dennisthe2.

Thanks for the feedback for the second article that I have wrote. I will fix my grammar mistakes that I have made on the article. I appreciate the help very much. Thank you. AhdBhat (talk) 18:22, 1 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

References

edit

Hallo, and thanks for contributing to the encyclopedia.

Unfortunately some of your references don't work.

Looking at Mirza Nizamuddin, you've added a reference "{{sfnp|Gardens of Mughal Lahore|ps=19}}", but the {{sfnp}} template ("Shortened footnote with parentheses") only works if you also have a list of bibliographic references to which these footnotes can refer. I wonder whether you have copied the references from another article, though I can't see which one - the same inadequate references appear in your contributions Battle of Chiniot and Rehmat Khan Bhatti.

Please go back to these three articles and add more information so that the references are actually useful to readers. Thanks.

If you have copied text from any other Wikipedia article, please read Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and give due credit to the other editors who have done the work, as described there. Thanks. PamD 21:36, 30 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

The article Dulla Bhatti shows how the {{sfnp}} template works. A simpler solution would be to just use "ref" and "cite", as many editors do. Please see Wikipedia:Citing sources and Help:Referencing for beginners, as it looks as if you just don't understand how references work in the encyclopedia. There is a lot to learn about editing Wikipedia but it is an interesting journey. Happy Editing. PamD 21:46, 30 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
Hi, this is not a valid citation. What exactly are you trying to use as a source? Is it available on the web? If so, please just give a link to it here and I will try to fix the article. - Sitush (talk) 00:10, 1 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
Ah, do you mean page 19 of this book? - Sitush (talk) 00:10, 1 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi PamD, and Hi Sitush, I have made an article called Punjabi-Mughal War with well sourced sources, I have also made an Article called Battle of Pindi Bhattian. Both articles have been reviewed and set up to the standards. I understand why these two articles should be redirected when they are well sourced. I am a new user so I might have been using templates, but overall I believe that the artickes should stay.

Your citations do not work and in so far as I can figure out which sources you are using, they do not mention the subject matter in the way you are describing. You keep reverting myself and PamD, who are pretty experienced when it comes to Wikipedia. If you keep doing that without providing relevant sources and you will find yourself blocked or topic banned as per the notice below that you have already seen. - Sitush (talk) 09:32, 7 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi Sitush, All those Sources are relevant and relate to the article. And It does not make sense to redirect the article. I am saying this again, please let my article run. Its my article and I have created it. It is completely wrong to redirect it.

Please be careful

Hi Sitush, For the article about Rehmat Khan Bhatti, He is contributing to the history of Pakistan, then why did u remove. I removed the List of 16th century Indians because he was not an indian. And at that time the word "India" wasnt even used in 16th century India. The name came from the british.

Rehmat Khan Bhatti

edit

Hi, Sitish. Rehmat Khan Bhatti is not a 16th century India because the real name of India at that time was Sirhind. It is history of Pakistani because logically he was born in Chiniot which is in Pakistan. AhdBhat (talk) 15:36, 5 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Shaikha Khokhar moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Shaikha Khokhar, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ... discospinster talk 18:33, 19 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
