Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Afghanistan national football team has been reverted.
Your edit here to Afghanistan national football team was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://ahmadfaisalsidiqi.blogspot.com/2011/06/afghanistan-vs-palestine-palestine.html, http://ahmadfaisalsidiqi.blogspot.com/2011/04/afghanistan-vs-palestine-in-2014-fifa.html, http://ahmadfaisalsidiqi.blogspot.com/2011/03/afghan-boys-dancing-after-victory-over.html, http://ahmadfaisalsidiqi.blogspot.com/2011/03/afghansistan-vs-bhutan-afghanistan-won_25.html, http://ahmadfaisalsidiqi.blogspot.com/2011/03/afghansistan-vs-bhutan-afghanistan-won.html) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 15:07, 1 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Cricket

edit

Hello. I see you have made some contributions to Afghan cricket in the past. It's good to see someone covering that area! Myself and User:Andrew nixon sometimes attend those articles, but I'm mostly focused on English county cricket these days, so don't get much time to expand Afghan cricket articles. Have you considered joining The Cricket Project? If you want to take part, you can add your username here. Keep up your good work! AssociateAffiliate (talk) 16:37, 9 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

edit

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 01:01, 20 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
