No rescue squad, just me and Thaddeus. I had brought this article back from deletion with only 2 sources and I built it to what it is now. This is only my second article and first Afd argument. I feel snowballed but the non-nonsensical arguments of Epbr123 and Hullaballoo and very frustrated that certain key policies, especially concerning interviews are primary sources, need to be changed. -Stillwaterising (talk) 05:13, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

- I'm glad that you've come to help contribute to the world's largest encyclopedia! To edit your userpage, just click the edit button ;). Wikipedia:User page design centeris a good place to start for userpage design. Also, you might want to check out others' pages if you want a better feel for userpages in general (what should be on it, etc.).Wikipedia:Userpages has the exact guidelines. Userboxes can be found here. To arrange your userboxes, put them between userboxtop and userboxbottom. Happy editing! Airplaneman talk 15:28, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
Hope you don't mind, but I've removed your speedy on Fustiballus (see also Fustibalus). Seems the previous editor was confused with their own tagging of it and broke the template. How it ought to read is as it currently is, a redirect to cope with accidental mis-spellings. Clearly not G2 material.
If you disagree, of course feel free to re-tag it. Andy Dingley (talk) 16:22, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of "pedro fiorito"
A tag has been placed on "pedro fiorito", requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add hangon
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Dorieo(talk) 18:22, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
- Why do I keep getting these messages for articles I didn't create? I moved the page to Pedro Fiorito, that is all (although I do agree with the delete, if not the reason). Airplaneman talk 18:23, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
Two things
Can you review The Tide for me? Also, does the article To Plant a Seed need the cleanup and rewrite tags?
--ŁσςhĢσσbïï (talk) 18:39, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
- I've reviewed The Tide. It's short, but it looks good. Try for some more references if possible. I cleaned up To Plant a Seed and removed the tags. Regards,Airplaneman talk 18:45, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
Thank you. I'll see if I can get more references. --ŁσςhĢσσbïï (talk) 18:50, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
- Happy editing! Airplaneman talk 18:59, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
One more thing, please! Does the article The Great I Am need the tags at the top? Thank you so much Mr. Airplaneman! --ŁσςhĢσσbïï (talk) 19:05, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
- I think it needs some expansion, but the references are enough for the size. Airplanemantalk 19:57, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
You know, it might help if you'd wait a bit after an article was created before making the sort of edits you did to that article. I'd just put it aside to get some information I needed and you waded in and made some ridiculous edits. For example, I'd put in in music with the intent to get the precise year, and you changed it to In Music, as if there was an intent to link to an article called "In Music"! And what's worse, you put that in AFTER I FOUND the proper year. Also, you put in stub when there was a more appropriate stub type to use, and unreferenced just because I hadn't finished the article yet, so references had not yet been added! If you'd waited more than the less than a minute you did before editing, I wouldn't have had to revert most of what you did! –BRG (talk) 19:36, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for being kind and understanding :). I was trying to help; there's something called underconstruction. As for the in music thing, I thought it was the album name. Sorry. Have a wonderful day! Airplaneman talk 19:47, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
- Hmm... I read some of the edit summaries in the revision history of the article... I hope we can get past that. The way I edit new pages is correct ninety-nine percent of the time; it gives them a nudge into being better articles. I'm sorry for making those "stupid" edits. I'll make sure to avoid these articles in the future and instead focus my energy on more rewarding tasks. Airplaneman talk 19:55, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

Category:Redirects
from the category description: This category should not contain any redirects itself; there are so many of them that a category of them all would be unmanageable – I reverted your addition of Category:Redirects to a redirect I was watching. If you think it makes sense to add those for some reason, please change the description of the category first (possibly after discussion). Take care, and have fun! --Alvestrand (talk) 06:26, 12 November 2009 (UTC)

HotCat
Instead of hitting the minus sign to remove a category, hit the plus sign the way you would if you just wanted to make a minor spelling correction — and then completely replace the old category you want to remove with the new one you want to add. For instance, in edit, I expanded "reality television participants", but then replaced that text with "Participants in American reality television series" before hitting save.Bearcat (talk) 08:05, 12 November 2009 (UTC)

So, I started working a little on Nico's article and I'll probably do a lot more when I'm on break. Can you give me a few suggestions for improvement on the article? Other than, of course, basic grammatical fixes. I tried to rework the Last Olympian section this afternoon because the end of that summary made absolutely no sense. Thanks!PrincessofLlyr (talk) 01:58, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
- I'm going to keep you busy with PJTF stuff tonight. I added some to the section about Briares in thesandbox. Take a look and see what you think. Oh, and I know that doesn't fall under "Nico di Angelo", but I figured it wasn't worth starting a new section. Speaking of which, the redirect for "Nico Di Angelo" is The Titan's Curse. Shouldn't that be changed to redirect toNico di Angelo (Percy Jackson)? I'm asking you because I've done absolutely nothing with redirects and would probably botch it! Thanks!PrincessofLlyr (talk) 02:32, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
- I'll take a look! BTW, I've botched tons of redirects (see above for an example) there's always the undo button! One really essential thing to have is WP:HOTCAT. It lets you add categories with ease, giving suggestions as you type. To add categories to redirects, press the (+) button and begin typing "Redirect" and stop. You'll see many selections of different categories redirects fall under. The same is for articles. Airplanemantalk 05:01, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
OK. This is really hard to explain, so I'll provide the diff. Instead of writing the same reference twice, you can give it a name and just provide the name in other places which use the same reference. That's where the a b c d etc. blue links that sometimes show up in a reflist come from-multiple citations of the same reference. I'll continue looking! Airplaneman talk05:26, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
- As for the redirect, here's what I did. It's pretty simple after a couple tries :). Airplaneman talk05:42, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
- I think Briares is ready. Airplaneman talk 06:06, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
- Nico contains a lot of "in-universe" writing, or writing that revolves around the fictitious world of the character so much that fact is blurred by fiction. See the link in the tag on the page for more details. Also, if you can find any reliable references on Google, feel free to add them. These two are the least fun things to do, and I'll help.Airplaneman talk 06:22, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
- I think Briares is ready. Airplaneman talk 06:06, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
Overload! I think I'll have to keep reading and messing around before I fully comprehend all of it. I looked at what you did on Nico, makes perfect sense. It might just take a couple practice edits before I actually get it right! As for Briares, does that mean we should add it to the list? I'll see what I can do about the in-universe stuff on Nico, although I have to agree that that's probably one of the things I'm not as good at. I'm not sure how much I'll get done this weekend (weekends are crazy for me), but I'll keep working whenever I have time. Thanks for the help! PrincessofLlyr (talk) 18:04, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks :). I'll add Briares! Airplaneman talk 18:07, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
I thought of another question. Does an article automatically upgrade (say, to C-class) or does it have to be reviewed or something? Oh, and I hope you feel better soon. Not that I would mind a day off school...but I think most people dislike being sick! Thanks! PrincessofLlyr (talk) 19:15, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks :D, and no, you have to manually upgrade it. If you think it's fit, just change the "class=start" to "class=C" in the templates. Sometimes you have to fill out a checklist for B class (not for novel articles, but in aviation articles, you have to). For the GA (Good Article), A (A-class), or FA (Featured Article) classes, there are reviews. I nominated The Titan's Curse for a Good Article review just a few days ago! Airplaneman talk19:25, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
- I saw the nomination; that's terrific! I guess I'll have to read upon qualifications for the classes. Editing Wiki involves so much research! Thanks! Does it feel like you have an unofficial adoptee? PrincessofLlyr (talk) 22:28, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
- Yea, it does feel like that..:D. You're doing much better than when I first started out. I came here after reading Joe Sutter's autobiography, wanting to add some information to his article. The rest is history... :). Airplaneman talk 06:04, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

Roboticus2 / Wendy McMurdo
Dear Airplaneman, Many thanks for the words of encouragement, always well received, especially by this newbie! I am writing in the hope you can help me resolve the current issue I have with the Wendy McMurdo page, having exhausted my limited abilities to ensure the removal (so far) of the banner at the top of her page which says currently "This biography of a living person does not cite any references or sources ... etc". Her notability isn't in question, and the references I have used, are all entirely verifiable, being as they are almost entirely in the public arena, eg internationally published books, internationally held exhibitions with other famous (and verifiable) artists, or long published media such as mute. May I presume the banner remains at present as I have incorrectly posted the information, rather than the information being considered to be less than sufficient for meeting the wiki standards for notability or verification? Eitherway, I would be very grateful to receive your help in ensuring the correctness of the information presented in wikipedia, and look forward to hearing from you in due course. With thanks and kind regards Roboticus2 (talk) 17:29, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
- I will take a look. Airplaneman talk 17:33, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
- Assuming the bibliography section is a reference section, then the article is well-sourced. I have therefore removed the tag. Something you should work on is citing the books inline with the text, like you did with the web reference. You can therefore eliminate the bibliography section and have everything under the references section. A good thing to use is "ref tools". Enable it by:
- Go to "my preferences"
- Click on the "gadgets" tab.
- Under "editing gadgets", you'll see "refTools". Check it and save.
- When you edit, you'll see a blue cite button after the ref button. It's on the far right. Click on it, and you fill out a form which, when you click "add citation", add a formatted citation for your book, journal, website, etc. sources. The reference will look something like this when you insert is (make sure your cursor is next to the words you want to cite; that's where the tool will put the reference: (don't mind the spaces, they won't show up really)
- [1]
- Under the "References" section, it'll look like:
- ^ Wales, Jimbo (13 November 2009). "64". In SchizzleDizzle, Frizzle (ed.). How to be a Wikipedian. WikiSeries (in Spanish). Vol. 98. Man, Airplane (57 ed.). New York, New York: RandomHouse. p. 4545. ISBN 345948547. OCLC 3450498530. Retrieved 10 July 2010.
cite book
: Check|isbn=
value: length (help); Unknown parameter|coauthors=
ignored (|author=
suggested) (help)
- Of course, you don't have to fill out everything. The above is entirely fictitious and made up on the spot. In the reference name, don't put any spaces, it messes it up. The "refname" is there so you can refer to the source again without having to fill out the form. Just type and it will be cited again! (that's the "b" cite; the first time the ref is given is the "a" cite. "c" the third time, etc.) Give it a try, and I'll be around for a few hours more today (I'm home sick) if you need any help. Regards, Airplaneman talk 17:48, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
Dear Airplaneman, fantastic, really appreciate the work you've put in, the page looks perfect! I'll have a go at citing the books inline as you say, over the next few days, and eitherway very grateful for your help! Kind regards, Roboticus2 (talk) 09:55, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
- Happy editing ;) Airplaneman talk 19:37, 15 November 2009 (UTC)

When you have a lot of information from the same website, do you place the reference at the end of each sentence or at the end of all the information from that source?Yuan Lin (talk) 21:52, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
- You can name the ref, like this: Then, in other places where you want to cite the same reference, just put to cite the same website. Another way is to use the cite template by doing the following (copied from an earlier post of mine):
“ | A good thing to use is "ref tools". Enable it by:

Correction script
Please do not use correction scripts on any page that is not in the article namespace (that is, the name has nothing before the beginning of the name like Albert Einstein, or has just a colon, like :Albert Einstein. This is because such pages may have deliberate errors that are used to show what users ought not do.
Also, please do not change html entities that start with an ampersand and end with a semicolon into characters, because some of these characters look nearly identical in some fonts, and editors can't tell what they are. --Jc3s5h (talk) 01:31, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

Speedy Deletion Converted to PROD: Last Man Standing - The Drinking Game
Hello Airplaneman, and thanks for your work patrolling new changes. I am just informing you that I have changed a page you tagged (Last Man Standing - The Drinking Game) from being tagged for speedy deletion to being tagged for proposed deletion. The speedy deletion criteria are very narrow to protect the encyclopedia, and do not fit the page in question. Please review the criteria for speedy deletion before tagging further pages. If you have any questions or problems, please let me know. Thanks again! JohnCD (talk) 21:10, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

- Same here; it seems logical. I might think of bringing it up again. More than once I've had to PROD or AfD silly articles that didn't fit the CSD criteria but were certainly qualified (the one mentioned above I thought could be counted as a hoax). - OK, I'll merge the page when we move Thunderclan's "real" page into the mainspace from your subpage. I don't think there's a gadget to remind you to sign your posts, though. Sorry. Well, I'm going to start a roll call for the Warriors Project. I'll post more info on the talk page in a sec. Airplaneman talk 23:46, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
I'm fine with the rainbow border you made, but the green you chose is a bit blinding/distracting, so maybe choose a lighter green...? Brambleclawx (talk) 21:52, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
Never mind, I did it myself. Brambleclawx (talk) 23:22, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
This is what I envision as the current characters page after I finish the split, but I need help adding citations.
List of characters in the Warriors novel series
Brambleclawx (talk) 20:01, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
- Looks good! Airplaneman talk 20:11, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
- One thing: I suggest we just put Blood Clan on the main page - it's so short already. It's a bit awkward to have Blood Clan at the end of a whole list of Sky Clan cats. Otherwise, I think we can move these pages into the mainspace and update the current article accordingly! Regards, Airplaneman talk 20:18, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
Good idea Brambleclawx (talk) 20:26, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
I was looking over all the other pages, and I'm realising that a lot of links (on the pages themselves, and on other warriors pages), will need to be fixed. Brambleclawx (talk) 17:08, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
- This is going to be a big project. Well, once you move the pages in the mainspace, I'll set about doing that. We could ask a bot, but since each link is bound to be slightly different, I don't think that will be possible. We have 43 articles to look over:
- Since I'm a year shy of being in high school, I'll probably have a bit more time on my hands. How does this sound: I check through all the books and mangas and repair those links and you make sure the people and plays are up to date? (Of course we do this after the articles are moved into the mainspace.) It seems like we are the only active participants, but I'll post a message on the Warriors page once the new pages are initiated. Oh, and about Warriors thunderclan: I'll merge it sometime this week. Regards, Airplaneman talk 22:47, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
I've gotta admit: even though I'm a year older than you, your organisation skills are a lot better than mine. So yeah, I'll move it in by next weekend, as long as nothing weird comes up and delays me. I'm actually spending a lot of time now trying to cite sources: most of the character pages cited nothing, so i went and cited all the relevant books. As I said before, I don't mind you editing those pages, since I know you will not try to vandalise it. So if you have time, you can help me cite the books. usually I cite like this: . some of the ref names i've used are: intothewild, moonrise, and catsotc (otc stands for of the clans). That way, afterwards, I just have to type . but I suppose you already knew how to do that.
Brambleclawx (talk) 22:58, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
- Have you tried Cite templates? You can make them much easier by enabling "reftools". You just click on the "Cite" button and you fill out a form. Click "add citation" and it posts it for you, all formatted! See an earlier post on this page to see how to if you haven't yet: User talk:Airplaneman#Messages from Yuan Lin. It really makes it easier :). (<-- I use smileys too much...) I'm off for the rest of today, but I'll start tomorrow. Airplaneman talk 23:52, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
Oh. I didn't know that. Thanks. and by the way, don't bother putting a tb template on my page: I have this page in my watchlist.
Brambleclawx (talk) 23:54, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
- OK, got it. Airplaneman talk 23:56, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
- I've redirected "Warriors thunderclan" to User:Brambleclawx/List_of_ThunderClan_cats_(Warriors). Can I move the pages into the mainspace now, or would you like to do it? Airplaneman talk 00:01, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
Well, the issue is that most of them have few or no citations, so they might be subjected to deletion. So if you could add some citations first, sure. Brambleclawx (talk) 00:09, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
- Will do. Airplaneman talk 00:17, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
apparently, you need to put a copied template on it to give credit to the original contributors. Brambleclawx (talk) 00:35, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
- On what? If you can, can you point me to where you read that? Thanks, Airplaneman talk 00:37, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
- Oh, here. I see. Airplaneman talk 00:42, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
- OK, so I've finished citing the "New Prophecy" Books, so go to here to copy them. Signing off for today, Airplaneman talk 00:46, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
- Oh, here. I see. Airplaneman talk 00:42, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
Er... well i was talking to an admin about it... lemme see... its here. And there, I'm directed to read Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.
Brambleclawx (talk) 01:22, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for doing that, I really appreciate it. Brambleclawx (talk) 01:24, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
I have now moved the pages into the mainspace: I would like you to add citations for the tribe page and the cats outside clans page.
I will also begin to fix linksBrambleclawx (talk) 00:51, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
- Sure, will start soon. Airplaneman talk 00:54, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
Hey, do you believe me when I say the cat on the cover of Twilight is Crowfeather? 'Cuz there's some editor who keeps changing it to Cinderpelt even though I have put proof for it in a hidden comment. Brambleclawx (talk) 02:02, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
- Looks like him to me: thin, correct fur color, etc. Try to get a reference to back it up, though. (Looks like you have it, but I'll convert it into reference format so it's visible as a citation in the article and is listed in the reflist at the end). If the editor keeps saying it's Cinderpelt (too skinny and mean-looking :D), I would try to talk to him/her on his/her talk page, and provide the reference to confirm it. Regards, Airplaneman talk 01:41, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
- Oh, you already have. Will add next to picture. Airplaneman talk 01:42, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
Do you think its necessary to make searches of ThunderClan, WindClan, etc. become redirects? and apparently, if you search "shadowclan", you immediately arrive on a page about an MMORPG. Brambleclawx (talk) 01:52, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, that's a great idea! I'll be happy to help you categorize the redirects. As for ShadowClan, we can create a disambiguation page. Airplaneman talk 02:51, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
I made the redirects for River, Sky and Wind clans, but i dunno how to do the shadowclan one. Also, creation of a new page called "ThunderClan" is currently protected from re-creation, cuz its been deleted 7 times under that name, and 4 times under the name "list of ThunderClan cats, and im not sure if its a wise idea to bring this up with editors, since they've deleted this page about 11 times in the past, and im not sure if this could be deleted under WP:CSD#G4. anyways, if you could do the ShadowClan one, I'd appreciate it. also, I don't know if its necessary to immediately redirect seraches of Tribe of Rushing Water to the warriors article, since i have no idea if this might actually point to another article.
Brambleclawx (talk) 23:48, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
- I'll look into it and get back by tomorrow. Airplaneman talk 04:00, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
I've talked to an admin, and i now have old versions of those pages under my userpage:
User:Brambleclawx/List of ThunderClan Cats, User:Brambleclawx/List of RiverClan Cats, User:Brambleclawx/List of WindClan Cats, User:Brambleclawx/List of ShadowClan Cats, and User:Brambleclawx/List of SkyClan Cats.
From what I can tell, the new pages should be safe from Wikipedia:CSD#G4, since they are substantially different from what they were before. The only one that worries me is the SkyClan page, which still looks very much like it did before. My idea is this: transfer the information listed in the old deleted article (accessible through the link i gave) about the old SkyClan cats (the ones that got driven out), then add a minor characters table like the other Clan pages. And do you feel there might be an issue with self-Published sources? uz its kinda hard to find any other source relating to warriors...
Brambleclawx (talk) 20:53, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
- Great! Yes, transferring the info sounds like a great idea; you might have to put one of those "copied" templates to point people to the old page where the original contributions now lay. Self-published sources, in this case, are unavoidable, and help because they point people who want to know more to that specific book.
- About those redirects: I'm adding the following categories to each you created:
- Click on the links to see what pages fit in those categories. Use HotCat to help you categorize pages. You can active it where you activated "RefTools". That way, with educated guessing, you can add categories without having to memorize all of them :D.
- I'm going to create ShadowClan as a redirect to List of ShadowClan cats (Warriors). In Shadowclan, I'm going to add a seealso template. Well, I'll start now! Airplaneman talk 21:48, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
Great!
In case you didnt notice yet, we've lost one more WikiProject Warriors member to the inactive list: Bramblestar (ShadowClan Leader), his reasoning being this.
Brambleclawx (talk) 21:57, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know; I haven't checked the page in a while. That's OK though; I see you are recruiting! I am too. I was thinking we could make an invite template similar to the one I created for the Percy Jackson task force: PJwel. It would be called something like Warriorswel I guess. Airplaneman talk 22:00, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
- I've created Warriorswel! What do you think? Airplaneman talk 22:09, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
- I'm going to post instructions on the project page to tell people how to use it. Airplaneman talk 22:11, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
- I've created Warriorswel! What do you think? Airplaneman talk 22:09, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
Well, actually, that guy was previously listed under "Possibly Inactive", so he didnt get a role call message, and since he was active, i decided to contact him. I have left a message for TakaraLioness, who, if im not mistaken, is the single editor who has edited the Warriors page the most.
Brambleclawx (talk) 22:14, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
- I see. Airplaneman talk 22:18, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
- Here's what I'm adding to the talk pages of all redirects pertaining to Warriors: which classifies it as N/A class while adding it to the Warriors WikiProject. If you see any other redirects related to Warriors, this is a good way to sort them. Airplaneman talk 22:29, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
Sure. I've done that now to redirects for the plays and short stories. Brambleclawx (talk) 21:02, 6 December 2009 (UTC)
I've been looking over some Wikipedia guidleines: I am so sure that Night Whispers (Warriors) is going to get deleted, since Wikipedia discourages articles about unreleased books, and there's virtually no information on the page at the moment, because there really isn't much we can put on the page... ideas?
All the book specific pages probably need an overhaul as well: Wikipedia also does not like pages that are bascially just plot summaries.
And I'm still working on grammar and spelling for all pages. I think by January, Warriors (novel series) might be ready for nomination for GA status. Brambleclawx (talk) 02:14, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
- I agree with everything! It will be hard to find more on each book, such as "Critical reception" and stuff, though. I guess a good place to start is to cite Amazon.com for the release dates, isbn, etc. and possible professional reviews. Airplaneman talk 02:20, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
An easy way is to find one page that lists critiques for the book, and search that reviewer for reviews on the other books as well. Brambleclawx (talk) 02:24, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
Oh. I know you're probably just as busy as i am, but if you have time, i'd like your help making all the references on Warriors (novel series) use the same format. It looks neater, and its easier to cite. also, some people cited the book description pages on HarperCollins and amazon instead of the book itself. That probably needs fixing. But I guess this will take time, since we're both busy with school. If I had more time, I could probably do it quite quickly. But I'll really appreciate help with this. Brambleclawx (talk) 03:06, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
Dell Adamo in MacBook Air
Hi Airplaneman, thanks for the message. The Dell Adamo comment read to me as more like trivia and seemed out of place in the MacBook Air article. It's interesting no doubt, but I didn't get the impression it really belonged, which is why I removed it. I also feel the phrasing, "At the time of release, Apple described…" was enough to imply that there would be obvious future contesters for 'thinnest laptop' status. If you specifically mention Dell Adamo, does that mean any thinner laptops in the future will also need to be listed there alongside? EssentialParadox (talk) 00:47, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for responding :). In my view, though, I don't think every laptop has to be listed. The way I think of it is that one could benefit from knowing that the Apple's claim that the Air is the thinnest laptop was, and will be, contested. In this case, the Adamo was used as an example. Inappropriate CSD nominations
Hello Airplaneman. In reviewing CSD nominations, I have noted that two of your recent nominations (Pimpinela and S dnem rozhdeniya Vika) sucked (i.e. were not in accordance with policy). Please be more careful when tagging other contributors' work for speedy deletion. We're getting a bad rep (e.g., the WSJ front page article earlier this week) because of reflexive actions such as the ones you took. -- Y not? 15:30, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry for my crappy contributions! But, thanks for letting me know :). I'm still learning, but don't want other people to lose something (like an article they wrote) in the process. I hate biting newbies and others in general... after reviewing the articles, thought they were in accordance with the policy. I'm sorry that they actually weren't. I'm aware that I wrongly took Alexandr Astashenok to be the band (he was the writer) in S dnem rozhdeniya Vika, and will be sure to be more careful. Nice to meet you, Y, and again, thanks for notifying me. Regards, Airplaneman talk 20:22, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
Thank you...
