Warning

edit

You just added a spamlink to the Anxiety article that was added several times by the IP address, 41.196.207.199] and then by Ahmedhamdy2014 in this dif. This is WP:LINKSPAM and adding linkspam is disruptive. Likewise, continually adding content to Wikipedia after it has been deleted is called editwarring and this is also disruptive. Being disruptive in Wikipedia can lead to you and your IP address getting blocked or banned. If you feel strongly that the link please discuss it on the Talk page associated with the article. If you don't know how to do that, you can just ask. But don't add the link again without discussing it first. good luck. Jytdog (talk) 09:45, 9 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Potential user name issue

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "PGCworld", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Trammel Museum of Art". However, you are invited to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you personally, such as "Mark at WidgetsUSA", "Jack Smith at the XY Foundation", and "WidgetFan87".

Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people, and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, or website, regardless of your username. Moreover, I recommend that you read our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please create a new account or request a username change that complies with our username policy. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. Jytdog (talk) 12:20, 14 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest

edit

Hello, Akif Tanzeel. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Punjab Colleges, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. — Saqib (talk I contribs) 15:08, 15 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from whitewashing and removing sourced material, as you have repeatedly done on this article, Punjab Colleges. This is considered disruptive editing and given your COI, you risk being blocked. Feel free to share any concerns on article's the talk page if needed.Saqib (talk I contribs) 12:10, 17 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Page block from Punjab Colleges

edit

Per your own statement on your userpage, you are employed by Punjab Colleges. This means that best practice for you is not to edit the article directly, but instead request edits on the talkpage. Ignoring this, you have recently twice removed sourced negative content without even giving a reason, or any sort of explanatory edit summary.[1][2] Such editing would be disruptive even if you did not have a conflict of interest, and since you do have one, it's very serious. You have been indefinitely blocked from Punjab Colleges. Note that you can still edit the talkpage, as well as the rest of Wikipedia. If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. Blocked for sockpuppetry

edit
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Akif Tanzeel. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
