I have reverted your recent edits which, intentionally or not, left the article looking and reading considerably worse than before. Can I respectfully suggest you take a look at Wikipedia:Five pillars before editing further. It outlines basic guidelines regarding expected editorial behaviour. Thanks,

Ditto. If you are unhappy about the accuracy of the information on the article page, please raise your concerns on its talk page (click the tab marked "Talk") - and please read WP:COI, which may be relevant if you are associated with the band. Ghmyrtle (talk) 19:36, 26 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

PS: Don't edit war - it will get you blocked from editing. The first step in working out how to edit here is to learn how to engage with other editors. So, I suggest you look at the comment I've added to the article talk page here, and respond accordingly. Ghmyrtle (talk) 21:05, 26 February 2013 (UTC) Reply

Hello, Alarmcalling. You have new messages at Ghmyrtle's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

I'm confused. Have you been blocked? If so, and you want to appeal, you need to read Wikipedia:Guide to appealing blocks and add a template to the foot of this page - your user talk page - for it to be dealt with. But, I don't see any evidence that, in fact, you have been blocked - no-one seems to have notified you, which I would have expected. And, personally, I don't believe a block is justified, given your comments on my talk page. Ghmyrtle (talk) 07:55, 28 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi Ghmyrtle (talk) thanks for the response and consideration. I am so confused by all of this. I have definitely been blocked and have had a second block response added now by another user although my block has been downsized from a month to just over a week. Again, I know I started badly with my first edits and am now aware of the responsibility and think that it may be down to the fact the I triggered an edit war through not understanding the editor process. I have added an appeal below and hopefully it will clear up the situation. Apologise for all of this and thanks again for your guidance, patience and understanding Alarmcalling (talk) 09:14, 28 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

{{unblock|1=I again apologise for breaking the three revert rule (if this has triggered my block), which I stepped over within my first few hours of editing a wikipedia page on The Alarm and related artist Mike Peters. This was an unintentional mistake as I did not then understand the workings, rules and etiquette of wikipedia. I have had advice and help from other users sice in particular from Ghmyrtle (talk) and Derek R Bullamore (talk) and have taken onboard the advice and lessons that they have imparted and would like to be unblocked as soon as possible to carry on in the manner of all good wikipedia editors. Thank you Alarmcalling (talk) 09:14, 28 February 2013 (UTC)}}Reply

It now appears that my block has been lifted. Thankyou all at wikipedia. Alarmcalling (talk) 09:19, 28 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
