Bell Partners, Inc.
Hi,
My page was deleted due to being about an organization without notable information. I am asking for you to undelete it because it one of the largest real estate management companies in the United States. There are many residents who live at Bell Partners properties and would like to read about the company. The article is written completely objectively (no advertisements and unbiased). Many similar companies that are publicly traded (REIT's) have pages that are on Wikipedia. Here are some articles about Bell Partners that show its significance.
NMHC Ranking of Top Apartment Managers: http://www.nmhc.org/top50/SurveyDetail.cfm?SurveyID=15&Sort=Managers Business Week: http://investing.businessweek.com/research/stocks/private/snapshot.asp?privcapId=4612404 Multifamily Executive: http://www.multifamilyexecutive.com/multifamily-executive/bell-partners.aspx Bell Partners Page with all recent news articles (Go to Latest News): http://www.bellpartnersinc.com/
Thank you, Bsumme (talk) 19:57, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
- The article was Userfied at User:Bsumme/Bell Partners for you to work on. Add the proper information there and move it when ready. Good luck. -- Alexf(talk) 10:39, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
I have added in the links and notable information. How do I move it from under my username to a page? Also, I need to change the name from Bell Partners, Inc. to Bell Partners Inc. (no comma). Thanks for your help! Bsumme (talk) 15:54, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
- You use the "Move" tab up in the top. See Help:Moving a page. It also works as a rename option so you can change the name too. If you have a subpage that you don't need/want anymore, and want it deleted, place a {{db-userreq}} tag at the top of the page to be deleetd, and an admin will take care of it for you. -- Alexf(talk) 18:43, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
Could you also help with these deleted pages

Alex,
If you could point me in the correct direction for appeal I would certainly appreciate it. Google regularly directs people to these state convention web sites. I think wiki would be a wonderful help to those who are looking for quick information about who these conventions are. Steven Machat
I set up a page on Steven Machat last night, put in the Hang On, and was going to add today, and you deleted it in a flash? Why? Is 12 hours not enough time to wait? I even added to the talk page to explain..! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.211.31.94 (talk) 11:43, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
- No it isn't. That's why the process is called Speedy Deletion. The article had absolutely no references whatsoever. It needs to assert notability. This is especially important for BLPs. If you have an article you want to write, may I suggest you work it off-line or in a subpage first? -- Alexf(talk) 10:39, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
Hi there. Could you have a look at this talk page message about an article you deleted? Regards SoWhy 20:36, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
- Ok. Article was restored. Still not convinced. The site seems to have the same text and it says it is copyrighted at the bottom of the page. -- Alexf(talk) 22:10, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
Ekarfi13
Sorry to bother you again, but Ekarfi13 (talk · contribs) is doing the same things as before; deleting cited information, modifying direct quotes, inserting his personal opinion, etc. Would you mind taking a look? Thanks. Jayjg (talk) 04:35, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
- I looked at the last few articles he edited and did not see a problem. Do you have a diff? In any case AIV is the proper venue to report, if you see real vandalism. These may be content disputes, not vandalism. -- Alexf(talk) 10:39, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
Indoria
Hello,
It appears that you have deleted an article I wrote about the chairman of Square-Point corp.
That particular article, Abhishek_Indoria was a part (or you can say, short info) about the chairman of Square-Point corporation and was necessary to give a background information. It was, I assure, not intended as any kind of spam or advertisement. It was linked to Square-Point.
Can you please review it and restore it? I will, if you suggest, make necessary changes to it according to the rules.
Thanks,
Alexander Elesten Alexelesten (talk) 23:25, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
- There is no inherent notability from other articles. Every article has to live on its own merits. The one in question, did not assert notability, so it was removed as per policy. As per recommendations, I would suggest you read the policies for notability and verifiability. Quoting reliable sources is very important, which you have not done. Also, in the future would you mind following proper procedure and starting a new section in Talk pages for new issues? -- Alexf(talk) 00:25, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
BKK Partners Pty Ltd
Hi
My page was deleted due to being about an organization without notable information. Peter Costello, the former treasurer of Australia, is a partner and there are several articles regarding his move to the private sector. His page references BKK Partners and I was attempting to create a link.
Could you please review this and undelete my page.
Thanks

- It was a one sentence article. Not even a stub. Had no references, no citations, and no explanation of why the company is notable. A speedy deletion tag was placed by an editor in the article and also in your Talk page, informing you of the issues and you did not react. I don't see the point of recreating a one sentence article. If you have information that makes this company notable, by all means start a new one. If you need guidance, please read Your First Article, which might be of help. Good luck. -- Alexf(talk) 10:26, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
Quite annoying...
Hi there ALEX, VASCO from Portugal here,
So "what gives" about this User:Zombie433 chap? I see you also sent him a message with a notice on something, and what did he do to you, as to me and several others? Remove message in minutes, no reply. I don't know if you are aware of the discussion about him (please see here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Football#User:Zombie433), but it's getting seriously out of hand (IMO at least), he has been addressed politely to stop his questionable adding of sources, his poor English, his overlinking, he says nothing to the community, and continues.
I have taken it upon myself to revert all his actions (at least the ones that add nothing), unless i am told expressly to stop, and by someone with the power to do it. Cheers, keep up the great work, até à próxima (hope you liked your visit to my country!) - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 11:41, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
- Oi Vasco. I have not been following this user. I just reverted a wrong edit and warned him. He's allowed to erase messages from his Talk page. At least that shows he saw and hopefully read them. I do like Portugal, and hope to go back to visit for a third time someday. -- Alexf(talk) 12:07, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
- Yup, totally right, he is allowed to do that, it's HIS talkpage. He's also "allowed" to not answer, but i find it quite rude, that coupled with the fact he does what he is not supposed to (asked, warned, etc by several people), treating WP like his personal website. Oh well... - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 20:55, 7 July 2010 (UTC)

Article about Gloria Jeans (clothing & accessories)
Hello!
I'm appealing to you, because my article was deleted twice due to violation A7 (Article about a company, corporation, organization, or group, which does not indicate the importance or significance of the subject). And I have 1 question: can you tell me why did you remove it? I understand that Gloria Jeans Corp. is not very famous in USA & Europe, but: 1. It`s the biggest fashion-retail company in Russia. Gloria Jeans has 270 own stores now & confirmed to open 70 stores more this year. In 2012, the number of stores will be added twice. Nobody except Gloria Jeans has such a number of own stores on the territory of the former USSR & Eastern Europe. 2. Gloria Jeans makes clothes in Russia & employs 10 000 people. 3. Gloria Jeans is the most purchased Russian clothing brand. Last year 9,2% of Russians bought it. (can give link to TNS/Gallup) 1st place - Adidas, 2nd – Gloria Jeans, 3rd - Puma. Then Nike, Reebok etc.(in Russia) 4. You allowed to publish article about oggi on en.wikipedia.org, but this company is much smaller than Gloria Jeans. 5. Company uses benefits of the best American consulting Agencies: KSA, JDA, Capgemini & tries to build its business using world best practices in fashion retail. 6. Company has Western management.
I’m very surprised by your decision & hope that you will consider to publish the article after my letter. Russian Wikipedia considered to publish article about company with great pleasure. Can you also give us recommendations about text? What should we improve, add etc? All links to sources I’ve done. —Preceding unsigned comment added by GloriaJeans (talk • contribs) 14:13, 7 July 2010 (UTC)

Hey question
Hey Alexf, you deleted Bottecchia USA as A7, which I'm sure it was, but I'm quite certain an article on the company actually could meet the general notability guideline if it was written properly, so I was looking to recreate the page, this time with an assertion of notability. Anyways, I was hoping you could paste to my userspace or email me what was there before so that I can get a start on it. Thanks, --CastAStone//(talk) 18:49, 10 July 2010 (UTC)

- Every page in Wikipedia is a work in progress by definition. Pages are never 'done' or 'finished'. All your page said was 'work in progress'. It had no content whatsoever, not even to be considered a stub, so it was tagged and later removed as No content (A3). We cannot have empty pages. To work them off-line, you simply work in a text editor (like Notepad) and post when it is ready to be accepted. To learn more about creating Wikipedia articles, please read Your First Article. Deleted Article - Farouq Abdul-Aziz
Hello Mr. Alexf
I know beforehand that my brief note is going nowhere. But I must say that I am really concerned, disturbed to be exact, about your reply to my associate's message regarding reading a bio-article for Wiki. I admire your courage in admitting that you are 'biased' hence not being the right person to do the job. But biased against what and whom?
I must admit that I am repulsively appalled at your revealing statement... 'and I am definitely biased when examining pseudo-scientific claims by fundamentalists'!! Sir! Kindly exhibit to the satisfaction of any objective observer the link you rushed to establish between your statement about the 'dreaded' fundamentalism and Farouq Abdul-Aziz' bio???
That judgmental attitude based on age old misconceptions (emanated by the subject's name perhaps!) is not becoming of a Wiki editor.
Or so I presumed so far. Have a good day...
- I understand your concern. Believe me it has absolutely nothing to do with the name. I accept people of all races, colors and beliefs. What I do not accept is quackery, and anti-science (or bogus-science). I researched a bit more online and found his association with Bucaille. This was enough to make me biased, therefore unsuitable to be neutral on the subject so I recused myself. I am sorry. Please do not read anything more into it. Have a good day. -- Alexf(talk) 10:46, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
Article: Anselm Skogstad
Dear Alex I would like to improve my article, to prevent that it will be deleted. I read your page on the reasons, why there might be a problem with the article about the Artist: Anselm Skogstad. I do not mean to market or promote the artist, I just want to note his biography. Therefore I never promote any exhibitions before they actually took place. This is not my intention. Therefore I kindly ask you, what I could improve to prevent the deletion? Thank you (K (talk) 01:13, 20 July 2010 (UTC))
- Any links? Would be nice if I didn't have to search, wouldn't you think? Especially since it is requested at the top of the edit page. Thanks. -- Alexf(talk) 01:21, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
- Never mind. Found it through your Contributions page. The guy seems notable enough. I wouldn't know since art is out of my line of knowledge. What I see is that the so-called references are not. They are a bunch of links to galleries and/or artists, that do not show any connection (as of this writing), to the subject. You can't just link a bunch of generic websites. That's spam and deletable. What you should do is link to page(s) that reference the subject, if the page is a reliable source. The ones I looked at are not. Just advertising for the respective websites. Also, the article is thin on bio and bios must be sourced. Citations would be advisable too. Lastly, it sounds a lot like original research, which is not acceptable. -- Alexf(talk) 01:31, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
- I looked again and checked every one of the links under "References". None of them were. As said above, neither one even mentioned Mr. Skogstad and all of them, except his own site violate WP:ELNO#1, and had to be removed. -- Alexf(talk) 01:38, 20 July 2010 (UTC)

Good Evening,
It came to our editor's attention that you deleted the page for Evangelicals for Social Action. I am a new administrator working with this non profit organization so I do not have record of what was previously written for your site however we would like to be re-listed. We are a true non for profit organization that was started by Ron Sider a published author and speaker of social and religious policies. We have been established for over 30 years. Can you please inform me on how we can receive our site back and what changes need to be made for it to be acceptable. You can reach me at admin@esa-online.org

Speedy Deletion of Game-Based Marketing
Hi, The article I spent some time on about a book I found very useful was deleted for copyright infringement. In hindsight the deletion was correct as I lifted the text right off of Amazon.com. I thought that was fair use, apparently not. I can write an article on the book in my own words but I was hoping to get a copy of the original article I wrote and use that as a starting point/template in an effort to save a-lot of time. How can I get a copy of what I wrote? I won't re-post that, I promise. http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Game-Based_Marketing&action=edit&redlink=1 Jeffrese (talk) 16:08, 4 August 2010 (UTC)jeffrese 08/04/2010

"Tony de la Rosa (Conjunto Accordion Artist)" article deletion (A7)
Hello there,
Today I happened to try and access a page which was listed in Wikipedia about Tony de la Rosa, an Tejano Tex-Mex accordion player[1]. Apparently the original article was deleted due to an A7 code.
I was not the original author of the page in question but would suggest that this gentleman was a pioneer in the field of Tejano music and probably should have a page devoted to him. I have been doing some research into the music played on Tex-Mex radio stations in the south and ran across some of his music still being played on the air. He was as an innovator in the field of conjunto music and introduced drums and electric amplification, much to the display of his fellow conjunto piers. That influence lasts until this day in the Tejano/Tex-Mex music industry.
During his career he recorded at least 15 albums for the Hacienda record label. His passing in 2004 was also enough to warrant an obituary in The Independent/UK. [2]
Thank you for your consideration. Ken Martin

Mississippi Baptist Convention Board
Hello,
I am somewhat new to wiki but would ask that you reconsider instating the Mississippi Baptist Convention Board. As you may or may not know, the MBCB is one of the state conventions of the Southern Baptist Convention. The SBC is the largest evangelical denomination in the world. It organizes itself into state conventions. As a pastor and a Southern Baptist, I can assure you that many individuals are interested in information about what the Mississippi Baptist Convention Board is. Would you please be so kind as to reconsider. Thank you so much!

I just ran that through Google Translate. No wonder I couldn't find sources. Sheesh. I think I better assume less good faith. Very good catch. --Bsherr (talk) 02:10, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
- I understand enough French to get that one on sight. :)
- Haha :-) --Bsherr (talk) 22:50, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
Vandal alert.
Sorry to disturb you, but the Indonesian misinformation vandal, who puts false info on Digimon and Little League articles, is back. This time, he's using 118.137.68.63 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log). Can you block this guy? Need action ASAP. Thanks. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 13:14, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
- By the time I logged back in and saw your message it was already blocked. These kinds of reports are better handled at AIV. I know you already know that, but just a note, as individual admins may take some time to log back in. Thanks. -- Alexf(talk) 13:44, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
Hi, I'm pretty sure that username is in reference to Arsène Wenger and not a violation. Would you object to an unblock? Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 15:31, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry, that was silly. Yes, it's an impersonation; though perhaps it should be softblocked. Sorry about that. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 15:36, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
- Ok. Changed it to a softblock instead. -- Alexf(talk) 17:27, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
The Cesarians
Hi Alexf
You deleted the page [Cesarians] (A7 (group): Doesn't indicate importance or significance of a group/company/etc.: Doesn't assert notability under WP:MUSIC)
There are now 3 references to the band on Wikipedia.
as well as several worthy and creditable online reviews
Can this page be reinstated or can I create it?
many thanks
Jan NYAT NYAT (talk) 12:31, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
- The online reviews might be considered. The WP references in other articles are circular reasoning and do not confer notability. If you can show they comply with the requirements under WP:BAND, by all means write it, but if they don't they will be flagged and removed again, so don't waste your time unless you understand the requirements. -- Alexf(talk) 12:35, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
Ok thanks
Red cardell
good evening, can you tell me if my new article about red cardell is ok now. you deleted the first one. it's not easy for me to understand everythings because i'm french. thanks to help me. Filbar29 (talk) 21:58, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
- Does not seem to have reliable sources to comply with WP:BAND. -- Alexf(talk) 22:06, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
Mississippi Baptist Convention Board
Consensus has emerged on the notability of state conventions of the SBC. Would you please restore the conventions you deleted? Thank you so very much. Please see talk concerning Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions.

DYK nomination of Ejército Grande
Hello, your nomination of Ejército Grande at DYK was reviewed and comments provided. --NortyNort (Holla) 10:58, 28 August 2010 (UTC)
- Answered at the DYK page already. Fixed the issue, Thanks for the heads up. --- Alexf(talk) 15:47, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
fyi
After some expansion I restored the article on Andrea J. Prasow to article space. Since you played a role in its deletion and userification I thought I would keep you informed.
Since the article is about three times as long, covers more "events", and has more references, I did not think it was necessary to request a DRV. Do you think I got that right?
Cheers! Geo Swan (talk) 15:42, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
- I have no problems with that. Thanks. -- Alexf(talk) 15:47, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
