Just to inform you that right now all the links for the Guns n Roses page are commercial links, but the official one. The Guns N' Roses - Setlist Almanac is indeed just a private personal webpage by a fan. So if you keep that page, you should add the www.chinesedemocracy one and the www.gunsnroses.us one, and so one. This is a moot point here. What are the last.fm/discogs links but commercial links ? What do you wanna have in the link section ? official pages ? fan pages ? companies (last.fm ?) ?
thanks

What is problem with this article? The actress was topic of disputes fifty years ago and what remains now is only nostalgy. The source for the article was a biography book and I didn't find fatal problems yet. Pavel Vozenilek 22:40, 24 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
- You may clean out the romantic tone. The facts, however, are correct, AFAIK. Pavel Vozenilek 13:26, 25 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
- I would avoid the war. The article isn't perfect but David Cruise put a lot of effort into it and it is quite natural he is proud of it. It can be easy to drive him away but he's expert on statitics and contributes in this area.
- Having (selected) filmography in actor's article is quite common. Pavel Vozenilek 22:35, 2 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Beste SoothingR,

Hi SoothingR, I know this is kind of out of date, but I haven't had time to leave you a message yet. You got my friend the "vandaliser" (user 24.81...) blocked right? Smart. I've noticed that he hasn't been vandalising Wikipedia for the longest period of time ever! Yeah. That's a good thing. But then again, who knows? He might just going on a "vandalising spree". I'm just warning you of him. Usually, when he doesn't do something bad for a long time, he'll do a lot of it afterwards. Anyways, I'm just telling you, but watch out for vandalising, whether it's from him, or someone else! --Abbopa 02:29, 3 March 2006 (UTC) Bye for now, also, feel free to call me "Abbie".Reply

You merged all the villages into this article when you closed the Afd. I had already done it and sorted out those that were in the town and the village list. Thus most are now listed twice. You clearly did not read the AfD discussion well. I'll revert to my last version. Don't panic when you see it. --Bduke 09:57, 3 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Wikilove? wikicivility?
editSomeone just swooped in and nominated the Wikihalo Award for deletion. What an incredibly inconsiderate move, that completely ignores the community of users trying to make wikipedia a friendlier place. Instead of discussing it on the talk pages of the award, or going to the Awards and Proposals page, Pepsidrinka just up and nominates it for deletion. Please go to this page and vote to keep the award. If nothing else because the deletion of the award is a smack down of trying to promote wikilove and wikicivility on wikipedia. evrik 22:04, 9 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading Image:Mariopeach.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

Hi Soothing, I have been reading books abut learning Dutch lately and I am having a good time. However, the book fails to tell me if when personal names of people are pronounced as they are in English or as in Dutch pronounciation. I was wondering if you could simply tell me if you pronounce the words in Dutch or the same as they are in English. Thanks you very much. Kilo-Lima|(talk) 19:28, 26 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
The blanking of the page was an accident. My computer did it. It's messed up. Sorry about that.

Thanks for uploading Image:Finntroll.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Jkelly 00:42, 11 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Sorry to bother you, can you please take a look at this article: Parsi. User:Fullstop has vandalized it by removing references, removing Freddie mercury image, removing the parsi infobox and other changes. Now he is constantly reverting to his own edit. He is also changing the Freddy Mercury ethnicity to Indian in its own article. Thank you for your time.--Spahbod 18:36, 17 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
If you believe they are not notable, then how is it that the community decided that they were? All have avoided AFD's as the community has said they are notable. I was going to merge all the pages into this one however there is much resistance to the idea. I can't put them on the YouTube page itself because the community does not believe they should be on that page. The most I could get as a concensus is a 'see also' link to this fork page...the other editors do not want seperate links to each user's article and have deleted them over and over from the main YouTube article. It's hard to make Wiki work when I am trying to negotiate with people who want the user pages (especially keeping the pages from AFD removals) yet will not allow links directly to each page on the main YouTube article, but when an agreement is reached by all partys, an admin says "nope, I don't like this idea. They are not notable so all your work is for nothing". This is VERY frustrating.
I can't merge the user pages into one, but we need links to each user page, on the YouTube main article since they are related to YouTube, but the community doesn't want individual links there. How exactly would you suggest that this is handled? --Bschott 13:35, 8 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

I have observed the recent edit war on the AC/DC article.(it pops up frequently in my VandalProof window). I had a question concerning the vote. Option 2 has received 4 votes(so far) from users with lengthy edit histories...2 of them being regular contributors to the disputed article. Option 1 has now received 8 votes...1 from a regular contributor, 1 from the "single agenda" editor who has been the main player in the edit war...and the rest from editors whose only Wikipedia contribution has been to vote on the article talk page. I was wondering about the validity of the vote when there appears to be a great amount of meatpuppetry going on in the voting process? I haven't cast a vote myself. I have an opinion on it. But my concerns about the voting procedure have left me feeling a bit of "what's the point?" about it all. I try to AGF on it but after 8500+ Wikipedia edits, most of which are vandalism rv's, my AGF is pretty worn and frazzled. Thanks, cheers and take care! Anger22 13:14, 10 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi. When you closed this AfD Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bonza bottler day, perhaps you missed the two additional articles that were added to it and voted on. These were bio articles about the "holiday's" creators. I've put them up for speedy now, but I think they should have been removed as part of the AfD process. If you think I should nominate them individually for AfD, just let me know. Cheers, Rklawton 21:50, 13 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

I didn't add a blank, I was deleting the useless word "buddy" at the end of Videl's profile. When I tried to save the edit, it said someone else was editing at the same time and refused to save due to an "editing conflict." No worries though, I deleted "buddy" a few short seconds later. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.252.210.78 (talk • contribs) 07:18, 15 August 2006

Hey, you blocked 80.168.87.20 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log) this morning and he's got an {{unblock}} request up.
Could you clarify for him why he was blocked, or reconsider? The only conspicuous vandalism from this editor was more than a month ago (and quite possibly from a different person, since he's an IP); now it just seems he's writing with a strong POV. Thanks, TenOfAllTrades(talk) 18:06, 15 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
- Thanks for looking into that. I agree that he's got to learn to write in more neutral terms (though I admit to some sympathy for his position), but it didn't seem quite right to block at this time. Cheers, TenOfAllTrades(talk) 19:08, 15 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for that Ten, I have some questions:
Should i remove the blocked banner, or do you do this? How does one differentiate between "editwarring" and the bold edits which are called for on the relevant discussion page. The Gerson Therapy page and the Gerson Page are ridiculously biased in favour of this harmful quackery, even more so than when an admin. posted a comment to that effect. I have cancer myself and feel pretty strongly about this matter.
Hi Soothing, without wishing to be disagreeable, when you blocked me I was reverting the Gerson article to a previous more even handed version which had been up for at least a week, before someone vandalised it with pro-gerson propaganda. It was the only time I had done it on that day. This is not edit warring by the definition you sent me. I'm not sure your warning as now posted is valid.
Why did you want to delete the oify codename internets mod page as "non notable"? I Speel Good 18:11, 15 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I'd like to discuss your blocking of NCC17. Regardless of your disagreement with his/her views and the way they were strongly expressed, the manner in which NCC17 was unblocked seems to have been unjust. In fact, the manner in which the voting on the external links in the AC/DC page was carried out, was on the whole unpalatable.Almost all those who voted alongside NCC17 including myself were bundled together under the heading of sockpuppets and summarily banned. Many of the points that NCC17 raised were ignored on the basis of the viewpoint that he/she was being uncivil in reference to another editor. If they were atleast levelheadedly listened to and examined rather than being used as an excuse to silence NCC17, the whole episode would not have had the word "clique" written all over it. This block should be undone. The Archer 22:31, 15 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
Hi, and welcome to the Biography WikiProject! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of biographies.

There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:
- Starting some new articles? Our article structure tips outlines some things to include.
- Want to know how good our articles are? The assessment department is working on rating the quality of every biography article in Wikipedia.

The problem is that the Wikipedia co-workers that are involved with this webpage are not unbiased and of poor competence. More over, this page is wrong and misleading. I propose that a non-German is charged with this page and protection is lifted, then. Merryhobby 19:38, 3 September 2006 (UTC)merryhobby
