Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Maytech

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Maytech requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.maytech.net/pdf/Maytech_Security_and_Confidentiality_Statement.pdf. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 19:19, 22 April 2017 (UTC) Reply

Your userpage

edit

Hello Anastasiia09. I see you have re-posted the content from Draft:Maytech onto your user page. On April 24 I asked you to not re-post the draft to this wiki until it has been cleaned of all copyright material. I see that you added an OTRS template to your userpage, but I don't think it's appropriate to post the copyright content here until such time as a permission email is received from the copyright holder releasing the material under a compatible license. These copyright rules apply to all parts of the wiki: drafts, user pages, and articles. The material can be re-added (as an article draft, not to your user page) once the permission email is received. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 20:44, 15 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Diannaa: Ok, it seems I do not clearly understood you on 24 April. I just needed some space were I can edit and modify the article. I won't post it to my user page anymore, for now the article is located here User:Anastasiia09/Maytech. I'm working on removing all copyright material from this article and hopefully it will be ready for submission soon.Thank you. Anastasiia09 (talk) 07:48, 16 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello Anastasiia09. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, such as the edit you made to Draft:Maytech. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a black hat practice.

If you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Anastasiia09. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Anastasiia09|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. If you are being compensated, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, please do not edit further until you answer this message. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 21:55, 17 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Drm310: Hi, nice to meet you. I'm not compensated for my edits on Wikipedia. It was my own wish to create a page on Wikipedia about Maytech. I sincerely hope you can review the article and let it be published. I made it so short and precise. Would you be so kind to review it? I dream to see it live! Thanks!
