Hello Angelo De La Paz. Please see the warning at Talk:Louisiana#Protected. I perceive that you have resumed reverting the article on the topic of Haitian immigration, but I did not see you participate on the Talk page. This case was discussed at WP:AN3. I notice that you have done a lot of anti-vandalism work and it may include this particular article. Nonetheless, if extensive or controversial changes are attempted it is better to discuss them on the Talk page. EdJohnston (talk) 18:15, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

Miss Tourism Queen International
editThanks for your attention to this article and the ones on the annual events. The vandalism has been taken care of. Per an earlier afd decision, I have restored the annual articles to redirects to the main ones. The earlier versions are still in the edit history. Given the recent vandalism, it would seem well to offer as few targets as possible. However, I did not redirect the 2008. Based on the previous afds, I think if this one is sent to afd, it too will be redirected or deleted--though of course, it's impossible to predict what happens there.
I can think of two ways of proceeding: One, is to merge the 2008 article also, and for it and the earlier ones, include the information in the main article, about not just the winner, but also the top finalists. I think that would be accepted--it was mainly the large amount of information about what was viewed as very minor individuals that was seen as the problem with the original articles. I've proposed a merge on its talk p. If you agree, either say yes, or just do it.
The other is to let the 2008 article go to AfD. If it too is redirected, there's no point trying to resurrect the earlier ones. If it is accepted, then I think you can reasonably go to Deletion Review about the others.
In any case, I plan to wait at least a week or so before the afd, to discourage the present vandals.
There's a discussion of this all on my talk page. DGG (talk) 19:56, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
- There is no problem with me if you choose the first way. I've read its discussion in your Talk Page; I wonder with user named Ped Ami when she (or he) said that Globalbeauties.com and Pageantopolis.com are personal websites and should not accept a reliable sources but how about his/her website: criticalbeauty.com; as I can see that website is the number one which contains many delicated, strong criticized words (usually said worse about some beauty queens or any pageants) while Global beauties, Pageantopolis, etc...are just only coverage, almanac websites without any serious words. I think we should restored to my last version of Miss Tourism Queen Int'l in 2004, 2005 and 2006 (although I don' take care it much like Miss World or Miss Universe). If you are more patient, you could open any articles about previous editions of Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss International or Miss Earth (before 2000's); all is used Pageantopolis.com with the organization website...So why there is no one delete those articles? Although it is the same to articles of annual editions of Miss Tourism Queen Int'l.
The main problem in this case, that is personal hostility between editor with some particular pageant organizations; no more no less. Thank you!

You lie and help create POV
editI don't know what kind of person could call cleaning up POV, vandalizing Wikipedia. Let's take a look at your Evidence.
Every reasonable person could see it's cleaning POV.
First step: removing unsourced and rather stupid claim "Over 8,000,000", and putting 8,000,000 with citation needed. I didn't even change the number to 5,000,000. If you don't find a source that claims there are more than 8 million albanians in the world do not remove this.
Second step: removing ultra-POV that Kosovo is a republic, how can you revert this? I really can't understand how can a single wikipedian
Third step: removing the rest of albanian POV in the article like "Republic of Kosovo" which is not allowed in any other article.
Just tell me where do you see vandalism? If you don't back up your claims for over 8 million albanians I'm removing that funny number... --Forsena (talk) 13:35, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
How many last warnings will you give to me? Why don't you answer my questions... I have reported you for all your POV and am waiting for response... --Forsena (talk) 15:12, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
2 last warnings
editI removed your two last warnings since I don't see you, a POV editor, can be a person who can warn me and insult me.
I have reported you to the administrators.
You remove sources which you don't like [1], you call me a nationalist fanatic and Serbian vandal [2][3], you think your POV is more important than UN and you refer to Kosovo as "Republic of Kosovo", country and independent from Serbia, [4][5]. Refering to Kosovo as Republic of Kosovo [6] is not allowed by any user in any article as it is Albanian POV and why are you allowed to do it? You also claim there are more than 8,000,000 Albanians [7] after the claim I just posted citation needed which you removed [8]. The claim that there are more than 1.3 million Albanians in Turkey is sourced by one unreliable and non-English site, but because it's pro-Albanians you didn't ask for more sources like you should. --Forsena (talk) 14:02, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

First off, I apologize for the spam. You are receiving this message because you have indicated that you are in Southern California or interested in Southern California topics (either via category or WikiProject).
I would like to invite you to the Los Angeles edition of Wikipedia:Wikipedia Loves Art, a photography scavenger hunt to be held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) on Saturday, February 28, 2009, from 1:00 to 7:00 PM. All photos are intended for use in Wikipedia articles or on Wikimedia Commons. There will be a prize available for the person who gets the most photos on the list.
If you don't like art, why not come just to meet your fellow Wikipedians. Apparently, we haven't had a meetup in this area since June 2006!
If you are interested in attending, please add your name to Wikipedia:Wikipedia Loves Art#Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Please make a note if you are traveling to the area (train or plane) and need transportation, which can probably be arranged via carpool, but we need time to coordinate. Lodging is as of right now out of scope, but we could discuss that if enough people are interested.
Thank you and I hope to see you there! howcheng {chat} 23:30, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

- I don't care your personality ideas. You don't know about Albanians.Albania is different, Albanians are different ok ? But don't reflect that to "Albanians' religion page".Albanians don't live in only Albania.Turkey has nearly +550,000 pop., Macedonia has 500,000, Kosova has 1,800,000 Alb., Greece has 450,000, Serbia and Montenegro has 80,000 Albanians. And they're full of Islam. And greece has 100,000 Arvanitika Orthodox Alb., Italia 450,000 Arberesh Alb.Theyre Christian too.Albania's population is poli-religious people. But ALBANIANS ARE MAINLY MUSLIM WITH CRISTIAN POP.

Serbs
editHello Angelo De La Paz
As I can see you undid my version of the article about Serbs [10]. I can not understand why? I know that over 600.000 ethnic Serbs live in Germany and here are some Notes: [11]. That is the official website of the Central Council of the Serbs in Germany and they say, that more than 600.000 ethnic Serbs live in Germany. Here an another Note: [12].
The estimated number of 700,000 Serbs living in Germany can be deduced as follows:
In 2001 there were 630,000 people in Germany who are nationals of Serbia and Montenegro, 160,000 with that of Bosnia-Herzegovina, 225,000 of Croatia, 55,000 from Macedonia and 20,000 in Slovenia - 1.1 million people also. Also living in Germany nearly 300,000 naturalized ex-Yugoslavs (1972 to 2002 were in Germany a total of about 1.3 million foreigners established - GDR citizens and Aussiedler not included). This gives a total of approximately 1.4 million people living in Germany, coming from the former Yugoslavia.
While not all people living in Germany who are nationals of Serbia and Montenegro Serbian origin (possibly about 70%, because there are also many Albanians, Hungarians, Roma and others), then a large part of BiH (approx. 40%) and Croats (about 15%) but a small part of the Macedonian nationals (about 2-3%) and most of the naturalized ex-Yugoslavs (50-60%) of Serbian descent. In this respect, an estimate of the total number of Serbs in Germany at about 700,000 justified.
And in Switzerland, where I live is it too. 196.078 citizens of Serbia and Montenegro, where about 75 % are ethnic Serbs. + the Serbs with a Croatian passport 10 % (4.000), BiH passport 30 - 40 % (14.000), Macedonia passport 2 % (1.500) etc [13]. Also 147.000 + 4.000 + 14.000 + 1.500 = about 166.500 ethnic Serbs

Miss Universe 2006
editI am a fan of MUC Canada and not a fan of false interpretations of the facts. The listing on the official miss universe website is not totally similar, and pageantpolis website is not the official website, so their listings are irrelevant. I am just wondering why you are taking this so personally? Since you mentioned Panikian, do you have some personal vendetta against her because her placement was confirmed by the official MUC website that she was in 6th place.
And BTW you do not own wikipedia and if there is a dispute, it should be resolved in a different way. However, you do not like this because it wouldn't work in your favor. You do not represent Miss Universe, so you are not the one to say there were no placings. Show one article originating from Miss Universe that shows you're right.

Angelo de la Paz, the things you listed above are irrelevant, it's your own interpretation and it has never been published in an official Miss Universe article.
An official article of the placings exists and it should have priority.
Wikipedia states that "Encyclopedic content must be verifiable"
Do not delete the official Miss Universe link of the placements:

Miss Universe 2006 re: neutrality
editIn Miss Universe 2006 article I am not expressing my point of view, I provided only the official link of the placements for Miss Universe 2006 and the placements according to the same article. However, you Angelo del la Paz, are expressing a point of view in the MU 2006 article, based on sources that are not the official Miss Universe link. In the official article at http://www.missuniverse.com/press/07.23.06.html it is stated the decision and opinion of the Miss Universe Organization, not mine.
You, however, are biased because you repeatedly deleted this link http://www.missuniverse.com/press/07.23.06.html and forced your interpretations of the pageant which are not backed by any official Miss Universe source or article.
You're also the one who first mentioned the name of the Canadian representative that year which clearly shows your lack of neutrality.
miss universe 2003 and 2004 info correction.
edithi, i apologize that i did not indicate some resources about the correction of miss chinese taipei in 2003 and 2004. now, i found some useful resources to prove my correction. however, i do not know how to properly cite these links. i only put those links under the reference title in those two pages. if i incorrectly cite these links, can you please verify them and cite them properly in those pages. also, the reason why i put taiwan in parenthese before chinese taipei is because chinese taipei is an alternative name for taiwan republic of china during the miss universe pageant; hence i try to explain why chinese taipei is in "T" alphabetical order in miss universe pageant because is representing "Taiwan" thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by 台灣護士 (talk • contribs) 04:31, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

Sinhalese people
editYou recently reverted my edit on Sinhalese people and cited on my my talk page that it was because you thought it may have been a mistake and I may not have provided an edit summary or discuss it on the talk page. I provided a very clear and concise edit summary. Also, there has been 3 separate topics on the talk page (the first of which started on April 20, 2007), the first of which resulted in considerable debate but no resolution and no reason as to why the section should stay. A number of other users also raised concern with the border-line racist content provided in the section that was removed and proposed it to be deleted. Seeing as how it has now almost been 2 years since the issue was brought up and there is still no resolution and no one has supported the deleted section with accurate, reliable, and valid sources and citations as per Wikipedia policy or provided a reason on the talk page as to why it should stay I think that definitely merits deletion. Also, the material presented is in the section makes claims about race and ethnicity that cannot be verified and are borderline-racist and could be interpreted by users / viewers as being very offensive and insulting.Markyboy333 (talk) 21:38, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

editThanks for reporting users who vandalize however try to check when the instance happened if you could, please, and see whether they did it recently (because most users are only blocked to prevent the continuation of current vandalism). Also, whenever you're reporting IP addresses you're saying that they're vandalism-only accounts - while we usually block actual vandalism-only accounts indefinitely (e.g. User:Example) IPs cannot be handled similarly (e.g. User:123.123.123.123) because they're not assigned to a single computer, so it's helpful to know that. -- Mentifisto 10:33, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Edit war on Miss Universe 2010
editYou currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Miss Universe 2010. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. Note that I have also warned Bigb0x. Cnilep (talk) 15:24, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
- Hello Angelo. You're being discussed at WP:AN3#Slightly stale war between User:Bigb0x and User:Angelo De La Paz. You may respond there if you wish. EdJohnston (talk) 15:57, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
- Miss Universe 2010 has been protected from editing for five days. Talk:Miss Universe 2010 may still be edited. Please remember to seek consensus for any controversial edits before making substantive changes. Thank you, and happy editing. Cnilep (talk) 14:20, 13 April 2010 (UTC)

editThere are certain problems with this map:
- Ethiopia is over 60% christian so should not be striped.
- Saudi Arabia is shown as Sunni even though it is Salafi. (should be Islam , Other)
- a number of west african countries have sufi, christian or animist significance. But they all show as Sunni majority. For example, Chad, Siera leone, burkina faso, Guinea-Bissau, Iwanttoeditthissh (talk) 16:20, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
You are now a Reviewer
editHello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 04:47, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
Islam in China (1911–present)
editHi there, I noticed that Editingman deleted your sources on the Muslim population of present day China in the Islam in China (1911–present) article as seen here [as of 03:37, 20 July 2010], under the explaination of "This is about first decade of the twentieth century" when the article is clearly from 1911 to the present and he put in his own estimation of the Muslim population in China. I have since reverted his changes. I just thought I let you know. Abstrakt (talk) 05:13, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
Could you take a look? User:Oro2 had made a large content removal on Sept 14. Qajar (talk) 18:57, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
