Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Jaiz Bank into Taj Bank. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. — Diannaa (talk) 14:34, 19 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Lucky aiyedatiwa

edit

If this was the first article that you created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

The page Lucky aiyedatiwa has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appeared to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, or you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. — Diannaa (talk) 15:23, 2 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

I did not know I was suppose to address why the page was deleted earlier. I fit because he was not notable then. But now that he is a deputy governor I thought he won’t have issues. Annexworld (talk) 08:36, 5 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Mohammed Hayatu-Deen

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. PRAXIDICAE💕 15:49, 19 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Mohammed Hayatu-Deen moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Liz Read! June 2022

Hello Annexworld. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Annexworld. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Annexworld|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. PRAXIDICAE💕 15:20, 6 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

I am not been paid for these content, i have submitted. Ventures Park is the first Co-working space in Northern Nigeria it deserves to have a page, same with Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, he is a notable figure in Nigeria. Annexworld (talk) 01:04, 7 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
You may not have been paid for that article, but you certainly are and have been for others. PRAXIDICAE🌈 01:06, 7 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
I dont collect money for articles, i write up article i notice is not wikipedia. The real essence of me creating a wikipedia account is to put up articles i find worthy. Same i do as google Local guides, i put up places i think needs to be on the map. the Lucky Aiyedatiwa page for instant, he is a deputy Governor of a state, will i charge him for posting his article no, he is notable. if you think i am been paid then i think i will stop posting then coz i have never collected anything from anybody. i just want to add article and help my community. Annexworld (talk) 01:13, 7 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
Just three days after you're blocked, a brand new account pops up to continue the same promotional edits at Draft:Alicia Butler Pierre, from the same geolocation as your account, which is littered with paid editing blocks. I don't understand how you (as in editors who violate our Terms of Use on a daily basis) expect us (as in volunteers who believe in the encyclopedia and aren't out to exploit it for our own financial gain) to believe it's all just a coincidence. -- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 17:46, 9 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
