editWelcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Desamangalam has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://desamangalam.webs.com.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Need help?
editHi Anoopcb, it's great to see your interest in improving the Kerala article. I will help you add the information you've sent me but first, I'll explain some basics in getting around Wikipedia.
About talk pages, whenever you start post a topic, the user will respond below your post by typing ":" to indent it. You can then further reply by clicking 'edit' on the same topic which you've just posted and adding "::". Confused? Take a look at what you have posted on my talk page again, and see how I've changed it. Click 'edit' to see exactly what I typed and how usual conversations go on here. Click on this example.
I see you have received a Welcome message above, why don't you click on those links? They are pretty useful whenever you have doubts over here and they highlight all the important points and guidelines.
Finally about what you've sent me, it seems to be a really tricky problem. Well, I've tried googling it...true, San Marino keeps showing up as the first. This brings us to our next problem...we need good references. Check Verifiability and Citing sources, you will notice that what all you've sent me are not considered Reliable. Wikianswers (anybody can answer this), Free dictionary (is not reputed) and [http://pgovindapillai.info/] (blogs are NOT allowed) are not good enough. I've looked at San_Marino but all it mentions is that "It is the first republic" and from E._M._S._Namboodiripad, on page 69 of this source, which seems reliable enough, does not mention San Marino.
So I would suggest, why don't you search news or google books for this? If you don't get anything, reply here and we'll see how to proceed. Also, why don't you try using your sandbox for practising editing? See how it's done by comparing with these good quality articles. Sincerely, Ugog Nizdast (talk) 11:53, 26 August 2013 (UTC)
- Good news, I found some good references and clarified it here. Thanks, Ugog Nizdast (talk) 20:23, 30 August 2013 (UTC)
