Freemasonry
editHi there, just a polite notice about your recent edits on Freemasonry and your comments on the Talk Page. I mentioned the 3 revert rule not as a threat but more as a general and general way of helping you out. You stated you would keep reverting the edit and if you do you are likely to get a 24hr ban, become angry with the other authors and frustrated. It is generally better to try and work things out on the talk pages before it gets that far as you might find you can either form a new consensus or identify another way to put your views across. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Freemasonry. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution.

Editing/Reverting Talk pages
editHi there, I have just undone your revert on the talk:Freemasonry page not for any underhand reasons, but simply because as a rule it is better to add more information to a talk page by replying to comments to further the debate. Usually you would only revert blatant vandalism or your own edits and then only if there are not subsequent edits that would be lost by the revision. I see you are on-the-square, so I look forward to seeing you join us in contributing to the masonic related articles on wikipedia. Boooooom (talk) 07:03, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
Mouth to ear, and hand to back
editAO, posting messages like this will only escalate the hostility you feel is being directed towards you. I understand that you were upset by his actions in reverting your edits and deleting your comments on the talk page ... but I suggest that the better way to handle the situation would have been to simply ignore his actions and comments... move on to editing other things. if you must reply, meet hostility with politeness and calm and help defuse the situation. Just my two cents. Blueboar (talk) 13:29, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
