Antibubbles
Please do not delete content as you did with the Cheap Ass Gamer page. Blanking of pages can be considered vandalism. If you consider there to be a problem with the presence of this material on Wikepedia (SPAM, maybe?) there are proper avenues to persue to get it removed. But just blaning the content is never the correct way. Check out Wikipedia:Articles for deletion for the proper procedure for getting the page removed if you truely believe it needs to be removed. Response on CAG
editThanks for taking my advice and putting the page up for AFD. That's the proper way to handle it. I personally have no strong opinion on the page, and so will leave it for the normal AFD voting crowd to vote on the page. Watch that vote page and, in a week or so, the page's fate will be decided one way or another.
Another strong suggestion is to always use the Edit Summary box below the edit box to give a short explanation of why you do things. History can show others what you've done, but the summaries let you declare why, which can be equally important to the next person who comes along. Your edits earlier today gave me no clue as to why you wanted the CAG page gone. Did you think it SPAM? Were you a page-blank vandal? I erred on the side of the first, and have been happily proved correct. If you used the summaries, you could have told why you were doing the actions, lessening the chance for misunderstanding.
Now, since you're new here, I'll give you the standard new-user greeting and welcome........ - TexasAndroid 17:49, 19 October 2005 (UTC)
Standard New User Greeting
editHello and welcome to Wikipedia! Hope you like it here, and stick around.
Here are some tips to help you get started:
- To sign your posts (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes).
- Try the Tutorial, and feel free to experiment in the test area.
- If you need help, post a question at the Help Desk
- Follow the Wikipedia:Simplified Ruleset
- Eventually, you might want to read the Manual of Style and Policies and Guidelines.
- Remember Wikipedia:Neutral point of view
- Explore, be bold in editing pages, and, most importantly, have fun!
Good luck! - TexasAndroid 17:49, 19 October 2005 (UTC)
Operation Julie
editBefore this goes any further, could you have a look at Talk:Operation Julie? The content you originally added to Operation Julie was a clear copyvio, and now you have re-added it. I am quite happy to defend my deletion of it, but the talk page for the article is probably the best page to take this to. Thanks. Telsa (talk) 12:07, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

editSpeedy deletion nomination of Antagonism (art movement)
editYou may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
A tag has been placed on Antagonism (art movement) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. 99.149.84.135 (talk) 23:25, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
I've deleted it as G12: Unambiguous copyright infringement of http://antagovision.com/manifesto/ Please understand that Wikipedia must be very cautious about copyright, and not host material that is copyrighted. Thanks. Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 00:50, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
