Hello, Aravindhrs89, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page Kongu Vellalar has not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and has been or will be removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or in other media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

Sanctions warning

edit
The Wikipedia community has permitted administrators to impose discretionary sanctions on any editor who is active on any page about social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties, related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process. If you engage in further inappropriate behavior in this area, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or a topic ban. The discussion leading to the imposition of these sanctions can be read here.

Please familiarise yourself with the information page at Wikipedia:General sanctions/South Asian social groups.

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Kongu Vellalar, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Sitush (talk) 16:56, 8 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

It seems you got your material for this edit from a KVG blog and simply copy/pasted it into Wikipedia. The blog is not a reliable source and we do not usually accept copy/pastes anyway (see WP:COPYRIGHT). - Sitush (talk) 16:58, 8 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Final warning

edit

It appears that you don't understand what an encyclopaedia is for and are here only to promote your views on castes. If you continue to do this then you will be blocked and/or topic banned from the area. —SpacemanSpiff 17:44, 8 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for disruptive editing, per WP:GS/Caste. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  —SpacemanSpiff 17:47, 8 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
