The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Block message:

Caught by a colocation web host block for 8.25.96.0/23 (I think it's Cloudflare). I think registered user should be exempted from the block. I had to use VPN and/or open DNS to bypass my country's restrictive local (default) DNS filtering. I'm not sure if this is the correct procedure, but alas, this is the only page I can edit... Thank you. ArdWar (T•C•L) 02:46, 24 April 2021 (UTC)

Accept reason: Thank you. I have granted IPBE for six months. Happy editing! Yamla (talk) 11:46, 25 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

I'm not aware of any current censorship of Wikipedia in Indonesia. I want to be very clear, I'm not saying it isn't happening and another checkuser may be more familiar with the current state of censorship in Indonesia. Can you please provide a link to a recent news article showing that your country is preventing access to Wikipedia? --Yamla (talk) 16:55, 24 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
Not Wikipedia specifically, but some other services are. For example Google search results are a lot more restricted here; Netflix and several other streaming sites are sometimes blocked, depends on who knows what. So many of us just use VPN and leave it on for everything. In this case, I'm usually using my housing complex's network and it's the manager who set up the routing configuration directly on the WiFi access point. I may override it, but it isn't exactly quick and straightforward process. ArdWar (TCL) 03:42, 25 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Discussion at Talk:Sarah Azhari

edit

I invite you to please join the discussion at Talk:Sarah Azhari.

Hello, we are seeking help with the Sarah Azhari article, created in 2013 & recently the subject of a deletion proposal. At issue was whether or not the Indonesian language sources establish notability. I am inviting you to the discussion at Talk:Sarah Azhari#Help with Indonesian language sources because you are in the Category:User id-N & have a minimum of 1,000 edits across all Wikimedia projects.

I realize that some of you are very busy while others may no longer be editing. Nevertheless, I thought it wise to consult with you.

Thank your for the work that you do on Wiki[mp]edia! Peaceray (talk) 21:06, 11 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
