Hello,
Thank you for your comments. Since this is the first time that I’m writing an article and have others I want to create, I’m wondering if you can help me better understand what’s needed. I understand your note, “Needs more sources that are significant coverage (rather than just a mention of a fact).”
Are the following acceptable sources:
- Newspapers and online reviews (e.g. N.Y. Times, Albany Union Times, Playbill, Library Journal, etc.)
- Publisher websites (e.g. Random House, Dramatists Play Service)
- A college student’s honor project that analyzes one of the plays
- Online blog interviews:
“I Interview Playwrights” by Adam Szymkowicz who has interviewed 1100 playwrights
By Jacqueline E. Lawton, playwright and dramaturg
- Anything else good to know?
Also, some of the works mentioned were produced, published and reviewed before the internet existed, so finding online sources is more difficult. The same with some awards. How is it best to handle those? If something doesn’t have a specific citation, do I cut it?
I am a little confused as the sources provided seem more complete than other articles I’ve seen on Wikipedia. And productions include notable actors who have their own Wikipedia pages and mention these works including Jennifer Aniston, Oscar winner Melissa Leo, etc.
Thank you once again. I appreciate your help. ArtsAdventurer (talk) 17:39, 28 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi Liz,
I'm confused. I edited the page and resubmitted the new draft on 12/17/23. Then I never heard anything. What did I do wrong when submitting? What do you recommend next?
Thanks for your help,
