License tagging for Image:Header3.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:Header3.gif. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

I'm not trying to battle you with the logo placement -- but I can't figure out how to put the informational box anywhere else, and they look dumb on top of each other. Tell me, is the informational box in and of itself stupid? Katsam 04:55, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Crosley.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Crosley.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. A tag has been placed on Over the Edge, Volume 6: The Willsaphone Stupid Show requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://negativland.com/products/011-ote-willsaphone and https://www.discogs.com/release/559309-Negativland-Presents-Over-The-Edge-Vol-6-The-Willsaphone-Stupid-Show. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.
