• Following an RfC, TFAs will be automatically semi-protected the day before it is on the main page and through the day after.
• A discussion at WP:VPP about revision deletion and oversight for dead names found that [s]ysops can choose to use revdel if, in their view, it's the right tool for this situation, and they need not default to oversight. But oversight could well be right where there's a particularly high risk to the person. Use your judgment.

• Special:Contributions now shows the user's local edit count and the account's creation date. (T324166)

Arbitration

• The SmallCat dispute case has closed. As part of the final decision, editors participating in XfD have been reminded to be careful about forming local consensus which may or may not reflect the broader community consensus. Regular closers of XfD forums were also encouraged to note when broader community discussion, or changes to policies and guidelines, would be helpful.

XFD Voting Tool odd error

I don't think it matters too much. Now it is 11 years. I tried to figure out why but couldn't really come up with a good reason, except maybe accessibility. In any case, I think any major icon change should be when redesigning for the future. Codex is going to be a big change for messages and icons. Can't wait for that. No, G13 applies to all drafts, but this draft was last edited only three months ago, so G13 is not a concern. The tag you added was to submit the draft for review, which would have been a waste of reviewer time in its current state. BD2412 T 19:15, 18 October 2023 (UTC)

Huh? I thought {{subst:afc draft}} brings up the message "draft article currently not submitted". I agree it would be a waste of reviewer time to put "submitted" and let a reviewer decline it. Awesome Aasim 19:18, 18 October 2023 (UTC)
