Axel Driken
Hello there Axel, welcome to the 'pedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you ever need editing help visit Wikipedia:How does one edit a page and experiment at Wikipedia:Sandbox. If you need pointers on how we title pages visit Wikipedia:Naming conventions or how to format them visit our manual of style. If you have any other questions about the project then check out Wikipedia:Help or add a question to the Village pump. BTW, nice work on the chemistry articles. However we do have a naming convention here that prefers singular nouns. You created nucleotides but there already is nucleotide. You probably followed an improperly titled edit link made by somebody else. Cheers! --maveric149

Where are you getting those wonderful chemical diagrams? Can these be made easily? --mav
Unverified images
editHi! Thanks for uploading the following image:
I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag. Could you add one to let us know its copyright status? (You can use {{gfdl}} if you release it under the GNU Free Documentation License, {{fairuse}} if you claim fair use, etc.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know at my talk page where you got the images and I'll tag them for you. Thanks so much. [[User:Poccil|Peter O. (Talk, automation script)]] 04:04, Dec 10, 2004 (UTC)
P.S. You can help tag other images at User:Yann/Untagged_Images. Thanks again.
And:
- Sorry for not responding... but I haven't logged onto Wikipedia until a month ago (by which time, the images have already been removed)... Sorry for the inconvenience. Axel Driken 18:30, 8 November 2005 (UTC)
Chemical structure of 5-methylcytosine
editHi, I've listed Image:5methylcytosine.jpg, uploaded by you 3 years ago, for deletion as it's been replaced by a better version Image:5-methylcytosine.png. Hope this is OK. –Mysid (talk) 13:17, 13 September 2005 (UTC)
- No problem... Axel Driken 18:31, 8 November 2005 (UTC)
Images for deletion
editNot sure if you'll read this since you haven't edited in quite a while, but six images you uploaded (Image:Hemiacetal.jpg, Image:Acetal.jpg, Image:Thymidine.jpg, Image:Adenosine.jpg, Image:Thymine.jpg, and Image:Guanine.jpg) are currently listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion... --Fritz S. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
