Rajiv Dixit and Bharat Swabhiman Trust
editHi BK knowing. I'm not clear what part Dixit had in actually founding the trust. Both the articles, Rajiv Dixit and Bharat Swabhiman Trust, are in poor shape and don't make the connection clear. Neither does the reference in Ramdev, http://www.livemint.com/Politics/BtLE0nBloRrgvQuW9rD6XJ/8216And-then-there-will-be-a-revolution8217.html . I think we need a better source, but perhaps I'm missing something. --Ronz (talk) 17:44, 13 December 2017 (UTC)
D. P. Agrawal
editHi BK knowing. I removed your addition to D. P. Agrawal it did not have a source, there was no context as to why it is important in Agrawal's life, and it was placed prominently in the lede of the article. Start by placing it in the article body, properly referenced, with proper context. If there's enough to deserve a brief, summarizing mention in the lede, add that afterward. --Ronz (talk) 16:51, 14 December 2017 (UTC)
An extended welcome
editHi BK knowing. I hope you don't mind if I share some of my thoughts on starting out as a new editor on Wikipedia: If I could get editors in your situation to follow just one piece of advice, it would be this: Learn Wikipedia by working only on non-contentious topics until you have a feel for the normal editing process and the policies that usually come up when editing casually. You'll find editing to be fun, easy, and rewarding. The rare disputes are resolved quickly and easily.
Working on biographical information about living persons is far more difficult. Wikipedia's Biographies of living persons policy requires strict adherence to multiple content policies, and applies to all information about living persons including talk pages.
If you have a relationship with the topics you want to edit, then you will need to review Wikipedia's Conflict of interest policy, which may require you to disclose your relationship and restrict your editing depending upon how you are affiliated with the subject matter.
Some topic areas within Wikipedia have special editing restrictions that apply to all editors. It's best to avoid these topics until you are extremely familiar with all relevant policies and guidelines.
I hope you find some useful information in all this, and welcome again. --Ronz (talk) 17:30, 15 December 2017 (UTC)

editHi, you seem desperate to get a mention of IIT Kanpur into the Rajiv Dixit article and it is causing problems. I'm not sure what it is you do not understand about the information at WP:RS but there is no point trying to use self-published sources, nor conspiracy websites etc to verify the claim. Find a book from a decent publisher or an article in a decent newspaper. - Sitush (talk) 11:25, 12 January 2018 (UTC)
I got letters
edit- @Sitush: @BK knowing: An RTI was filed in 2015 for verification whether Rajiv Dixit is an alumni of IIT Kanpur or not. Here [1] was the result.
See S.no 64 with Request no DOHED/R/2015/63651 and open PDF file in which Ministry of Human resources Development replied of having no information on it and later transferred Letter to C.P Singh who was Deputy Registrar of IIT Kanpur.
Then I found the letter from IIT Kanpur which verified Rajiv Dixit as a pass out from IIT Kanpur in the year 1993. But the problem is I am not sure whether the Letter is original or not , So I have mailed IIT Kanpur and let's hope they will verify that Letter soon.
I hope it helps . Thanks Anmolbhat (talk) 14:17, 12 January 2018 (UTC)
- I wouldn't accept that anyway, sorry. See WP:PRIMARY. - Sitush (talk) 15:12, 12 January 2018 (UTC)
Final warning
editHi, BK knowing. Your only interest on Wikipedia seems to be to add material to and about Rajiv Dixit. When you add sources they are inappropriate, and you seem either unwilling or unable to learn Wikipedia's rules, or civil behaviour here (see for instance these rude and intrusive edits [2][3]). You have already been blocked twice for these behaviours. If you disrupt an article or user talkpage again, you will be blocked indefinitely. Bishonen | talk 15:18, 12 January 2018 (UTC).
