Hello, I'm Greyjoy. I noticed that you recently removed content from Md. Shahab Uddin without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited St. Edmund's College, Shillong, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page MP (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Speedy deletion nomination of Muhammad Rabi Khan

edit

Hello Bahadur Khan,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Muhammad Rabi Khan for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Proposed deletion of Misbahur Rahman

edit

Hello, Bahadur Khan

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Curbon7, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, Misbahur Rahman, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to contest the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Curbon7}}. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. Thanks!

Speedy deletion nomination of Nawab Mohamed Ali Chowdhury

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Nawab Mohamed Ali Chowdhury requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from en.banglapedia.org/index.php/Chowdhury,_Ali_Nawab. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lodi tribe and Prithimpassa Nawab Family in Bangladesh

edit

Hi, I removed the mention of the Prithimpassa Nawab Family on the Lodi tribe page because it's unnecessary. Countless individuals and families claim descend from the Lodi tribe due to many branches of the tribe settling throughout the subcontinent in the past. Don't see the reason why one family has to be specifically singled out and that too in the top of the page. Please make a separate page for those who claim descend from the Lodi and link it to this page in the 'see also' section. The Lodi tribe page is for those who currently belong to the tribe, not those who were once part of it (allegedly). Historyandshit (talk) 06:32, 30 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

I have created the draft for the Claimed descend from the Lodi tribe. Please work on it and submit it for approval. Once approved, link to it from the main Lodi tribe page.
