I thought I had done the needed change, had added the references and was feeling it was reasonable fort a fist ever entry. It it seems to be now available on line. So I have no idea what this message is all about and need help in explaining. Are my changes OK or not? Please explain more. Bailey Chipping--Bailey Chipping (talk) 17:36, 16 August 2012 (UTC)
The article Michael Schofield, Researcher & Campaigner has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Mr. Vernon (talk) 05:34, 10 August 2012 (UTC)

===explanation--- He is almost certainly notable under WP:AUTHOR, but
1.the article must have references providing substantial coverage from 3rd party independent published reliable sources, print or online, but not blogs or press releases, or material derived from press releases. The usual ones for an author are book reviews. Please add references to them, and add formal references to his publications--especially his books--in bibliographic format. DID THIS BUT OBVIOUSLY NOT INCLUDE AOR NOT GOOD ENOUGH?
2.The information about his biography is given without a source. This is not acceptable for living individuals. Please give a suitable published source. The routine facts of it can be from material written by him, but any evaluations of his work must be from cited published sources. I GIVE LOTS OF SOURCES?
3. Remember not to copy from a web site or previously published material. unless you you own the copyright and are willing to give us permission according to full formalities at WP:DCM. Material from publishers sites or biographic information in journals can be used for routine information, but is not copyright-free, nor is it truly third-party. I MADE TOW QUOTES ALL ACKNOWLEDGED - IS THIS NOT ALLOWED!
Please try to do this right. We really need the article. It might be a good idea to notify me when you resubmit it, as i frequently work on articles of people with notability as authors and researchers. DGG ( talk ) 23:19, 3 September 2012 (UTC)
OK I GIVE UP! THIS IS MY FRST ENTRY - I HAVE READ A LOT OF BIOS THAT ARE THINNER THAN THIS. I ADDED TWO MORE REFERENCES AND AM STILL RESEARCHING. BUT I FIND THIS RESPONSE VERY DISCOURAGING AND SO WILL MOVE ON TO OTHER THINGS.
