Speedy declined: Adriatic derby

Hi Banej, I've declined your WP:CSD#A1 tag on Adriatic derby because there is indeed enough context to identify the subject. Feel free to go the route of AFD or PROD if you still thinks the article warrants deletion. Thanks, Airplaneman 17:54, 27 August 2010 (UTC)

MEST

I've reverted the page back to the version I had previously reverted to. You seem confused as to what vandalism is. Putting sourced information relative to the article is called editing. Section blanking for no reason is vandalism.76.120.66.57 (talk) 06:25, 30 August 2010 (UTC)

Gaston Bachelard

Can you please explain your accusation of "vandalism" in the commodity fetishism article? Althusser claimed to have borrowed the concept of epistemological rupture or "epistemological break" from Gaston Bachelard. If I mention this in the article, how is that an instance of "vandalism"? Minor edits

Thank you for your contributions. Please remember to mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Dungeon Siege III, as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes, or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. SoWhy 19:25, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Lucid Games

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Lucid Games requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Melaen (talk) 17:54, 26 February 2011 (UTC)

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being minor in the usual way.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. With the script in place, you can continue with this functionality indefinitely (its use is governed by WP:MINOR). If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 19:03, 15 March 2011 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Gears1 OST.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Gears1 OST.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. Soundtrack covers

I have removed the soundtrack covers for Gears 1 and 2 again. They both still fail WP:FUC and WP:NONFREE. Non-free images require critical commentary on the image itself for use on Wikipedia. The only exception to this rule is the image used in the infobox to illustrate the article as a whole. These articles are on the games, not the soundtracks, thus the soundtrack images cannot be used to illustrate the game. An article on a soundtrack would be able to have an image of the cover art, but when it comes to soundtracks being mentioned in articles on games or films, their cover art is not usable unless there is critical commentary on that cover art. Critical commentary would be more than someone simply describing the image, it would be detailed commentary about the image.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 05:38, 10 October 2011 (UTC)
