WP:RFPP clerking
Baseball Watcher, How do you keep on clerking the WP:RFPP page. Is there a tool or something. mauchoeagle 02:16, 13 April 2011 (UTC)

- Ahh I see and you are the only one doing this. If it is a script I would think more than just one user would be doing this. mauchoeagle 02:23, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
- No, there are a lot of users who use the script. Baseball Watcher 02:27, 13 April 2011 (UTC)

Since the season started what team are you rooting for?

- What an easy question, the Texas Rangers of course! Baseball Watcher 00:31, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
Re: For your consideration
The vandal in question was autoblocked long ago, yet he still returned, like a fly that pesters you and maneuvers barely enough out of your reach when you wave at it. Meanwhile, I don't mind getting vandalized too much; it gives me entertainment after 20 minutes of HG, and also shows that I clean vandalism really well, if they're getting mad enough to attack me. --43?9enter ☭msg☭contribs 00:27, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
- Adding to comment: I did not provoke him, I reverted his vandalism, and the relation between me and him went downhill...--43?9enter ☭msg☭contribs 00:30, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you for the clarification. Baseball Watcher 16:21, 28 April 2011 (UTC)
ITNC comment
If you are going to use identity-based reasoning to comment on things at ITNC [1] then please keep your opinions to yourself. If you'd said the revolution in Egypt didn't matter enough to you to be posted because you are American, you'd have been hounded off that page. We have enough trouble attracting and keeping women editors--this does not help.--Chaser (talk) 02:50, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you for the advice and I will take it in to consideration. Baseball Watcher 02:53, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
Just because something can be speedied doesn't mean it has to. A quick and simple search would have showed you who this was and how they might possible be notable. I understand the attraction of instant-tagging, but at some point you'll have to realize that Wikipedia doesn't have everything covered yet, and if first-time editors aren't perfect you could consider helping them out. I noticed you hadn't even placed a notification, let alone a warning, on their talk page (see WP:BITE). Please keep this in mind: we are constantly in need of new blood. Thank you. That RfA reform thing
Kudpung has asked me to 'nudge' some people .. as I'm an idle get, I'm just going through the entire Task Force list so my apologies if you didn't need a nudge! You can slap me about over on WP:EfD if you like :o) Straw polling various options: over here - please add views, agree with views, all that usual stuff. Pesky (talk) 12:48, 18 April 2011 (UTC)

Please do not transclude RfAs if you are not the candidate or nominator, or if you were not asked by the candidate/nominator. You were warned not to do this before, and now I'm taking shit for removing premature !votes from the RfA. I know you are just trying to help, but this is not the way to do so. Closing of RFA
I noticed your close of Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Andrew J Powers. While it is patently obvious that the RFA had no chance of success, and was therefor properly eligible for a non-crat close, you really should not have closed it after you participated in it by opposing. Re-opening it to allow someone else to close would be silly, but in the future try not to close any discussion you have previously participated in, no matter how obvious. The result of that AfD wasn't keep. There was a weak keep, a delete and speedy delete, while the rest of the keeps came from User:Rhooks27, who is her publicist.--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 05:24, 2 May 2011 (UTC)

List of Major League Baseball players with 2000 hits
Hi, Baseball Watcher. This AfD really wasn't a good candidate for a non-admin closure, because the debate was contentious and contains multiple valid "delete" votes. I was in favor of keeping the article, but I really think you should undo your "keep" close and leave this one to the administrators. Would you mind? Your sandbox
The page is back. In the future, please put a comment into the deletion tag that tells the admin that you really don't want it to be deleted: something like "this is a test; please do not delete this page". Simply putting "Testing", as you did before, makes it sound as if you were testing with the page and want it to be deleted because you've finished testing. Nyttend (talk) 02:32, 5 May 2011 (UTC)
