This was due due to the Italians' traditional bend for conservatism, on one side, but even more importantly to the Cold War, with the US closely eyeing Italy, and often heavily meddling in its politics, not always by licit means (See: strategy of tension), after their desire to maintain a vital NATO presence amidst the Mediterranean. - "if the rule requires finding an appropriate online quotation in English (difficult)"
- You can quote non-English sources. See Plan Colombia. The Venezuala gentleman on that page quotes Spanish sources all the time. No reason to be so melodramatic. I believe the US was involved in Italy's election, but others do not. The verifiablity rules are there for a good reason. Maybe I can find a source myself, but as the author, you probably have something more readily available than I do.Travb (talk) 22:01, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
- I see you add a reference. Thank you. God speed. Travb (talk) 22:04, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
Hi, I removed your reference, because it came from the Larouche folks, generally not to be used except as reference in those articles related to the LaRouche movement. Hope you don't mind. Intangible 02:33, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
Buon Giorno (o Buona Notte depending on where you are)! I see you've been involved in the Kolyma epic and I wondered if, as a historian, you might be able to contribute to finding a few more authentic references. The poor guy who put the thing together feels really hammered and I sympathise. I think you might be interested, for example, in a great Italian account of Kolyma at [2] which gives an extremely convincing account of what went on there. Pity our North-American friends are still skeptics. I've made some headway on the article myself but there's still a long way to go. And BTW, can't you contribute to [3] ? Or start a new article on Campi della Kolyma. There is still a lot to be done in Italian. Ciao--Ipigott 22:27, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
Xueyantuo
editMerging what? Xueyantuo into Shato? I don't think Xueyantuo were related to Shato provided from what I had read, althought the german link itself probably said so itself. Maybe on a turkic etymology link their possible related, but without any original texts for assertion those assumption are shakily at best. However, the link between Xueyantuo and Shato are centuries apart, the latter are notable for founding the three of the Five dynasties, li keyong probably had a much profound influence greater than southern tang, I think they can be keep as two separated article. Contributo
Amichevoli saluti,--PIO (talk) 16:30, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of shipwrecks in April 1941, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Myloi. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Northernmost settlements, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Dundas, Tasiusaq and Aappilattoq (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
