Hello, I'm That Tired Tarantula. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to FBI (TV series) seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. That Tired Tarantula (talk) 05:03, 24 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Sorry dude, I didn't mean for it to be received in that way as i myself don't particularly like the show. I'm only here to help out and I'm new to this so if you have any advice in the future hit me up here on my talk page, peace!

It's okay, don't worry; it's just that everything on Wikipedia has to be neutral. Also, welcome! Here are some pages that might be helpful for learning more about editing:
Feel free to ask me any questions about basic editing on my talk page (I am only saying basic editing because I have only a moderate amount of knowledge on Wikipedia's guidelines due to the limited amount of time in which I have been an editor; you can get more help with more advanced editing concepts, guidelines, and procedures by viewing pages in the complete Manual of Style and by asking editors questions at the Teahouse or the Wikipedia:Help desk—note that the Teahouse is mainly designed and recommended for new editors). I hope that helps! That Tired Tarantula (talk) 21:58, 25 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thanks mate! It means a lot to have such a welcoming environment were at Wikipedia! Talk later maybe! See you 'round mate

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Call of Duty, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. "This level made a whole lot of parents ban their kids from playing the game" is not okay soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 04:59, 25 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, I honestly didn't know that that would be against the rules. I knew this to be a fact so i thought it was a helpful contribution. Honestly dont know why i edit stuff, I just make ot worse instead of helping ßåtrøşë (talk) 05:21, 25 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
it* not ot
sorry ßåtrøşë (talk) 05:22, 25 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at The Simpsons, you may be blocked from editing. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 06:52, 25 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hey, this was not vandalism. That was one of the actual predictions the simpsons made. I now do kind of feel ticked off for being wrongly accused about something you clearly dont know about seeing as i know this happened. Please kindly dont go around wrongly accusing people without actually doing research. You now are making my time on Wikipedia, a cool online tool, way less enjoyable. ßåtrøşë (talk) 08:02, 25 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
I am not reverting you because you are new. I am reverting you because you claim that The Simpsons predicted the events of September 11. In what episode did the primetime and light-hearted animated comedy series The Simpsons predicted that an Islamic terrorist organisation would hijack two planes and fly them into buildings, killing thousands of people? soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 12:15, 25 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
There was if i remember correctly it was on a newspaper. My memory might be playing tricks on me though. Im sorry to cause all of this trouble ßåtrøşë (talk) 05:18, 26 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hey. Maybe you should look into stuff before chipping in! Because it did happen! In the episode "Homer VS New York" there was a brochure that said $9 and it was right beside the twin towers looking like 9/11. Please dont try to block me for telling the truth and revert your warnings. Look into stuff before chipping in, sound familiar? It should seeing as you said that to me. Dont go screwing with me again, it really ruined my day for i kept thinking of the episode.

Well, that sounds a threat. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 06:45, 26 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Homer VS New York as i clearly truthfully stated on the page that you blocked me from. You are what one calls "slow" seeing as you dont even look into the stuff you revert before reverting it. ßåtrøşë (talk) 05:22, 27 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Continued personal attacks will result in a removal of your ability to edit in general and a loss of your talk page access. --Kinu t/c 05:54, 27 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing The Simpsons, you are still able to edit the rest of Wikipedia. Please remember:

  • No original research. You kind of remembering a newspaper headline, you thinking of an episode or a shot of an episode does not mean The Simpsons predicted the events of September 11, 2001.
  • If someone disagrees with you, try to talk it through. Start a discussion on the talk page. Remember that your fellow editors also try to improve an article. It's called the WP:Bold, Revert, Discuss method. But by no means start edit warring, by keep pushing your version of an article. It will lead to a general block.
  • No personal attacks, whatsoever. That includes thinly veiled threats, like ending a sentence with "for your sake".

I hope you learn from this and I hope you will start contributing constructively from now on. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 09:55, 26 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Ok. Now i have evidence! i dont vaguely rember it, i actually provided the true info about the episode. I didnt mean to threaten you and i apologize for making it seem that way ßåtrøşë (talk) 05:16, 27 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
No, you did not. You describing a flyer appearing in a shot forming what looks like 9 and 11 does not mean "The Simpsons predicted the events of the September 11 attacks", that is your own interpretation. It is what we call original research and it is not "evidence" in the slightest. We go by reliable sources, not our own thoughts, opinions and conclusions.
To be clear: I do not have the power to block you from editing. An administrator, or admin for short, like Kinu does. I did however issue you several warnings, making it clear you were going at it the wrong way. After you ignored the last one I informed people who do have the power and you were subsequently blocked. Remember the "bold, revert, discuss" method? You are blocked from editing The Simpsons, but you can still edit Talk: The Simpsons, start a new discussion and ask for input and maybe come to a conclusion.
Six minutes after apologizing you call me slow. That is another personal attack. Wikipedia is a collaborative effort, with volunteers just like you and me. Basic civility is a requirement. So please, stop with the name-calling. It's not nice. Another basic principle of Wikipedia is assume good faith: I still think you are trying to help improve Wikipedia. But competence is required, if you can't or won't listen to others, this might not be the place for you. And that's okay too, the internet is a big place.
So again, I hope you learn from this experience. I have no ill feelings towards you and hold no grudges. Happy editing. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 10:24, 27 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at The Simpsons. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 12:09, 25 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing certain pages (The Simpsons) for disruptive editing.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Kinu t/c 06:59, 26 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. Your original research or what you think is truth doesn't matter. What matters is if things are mentioned in reliable sources. I hope this helps. --Kinu t/c 05:52, 27 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
