Speedy deletion nomination of Minhas Craft Brewery

A tag has been placed on Minhas Craft Brewery requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://minhasbrewery.com/our-history. Conflict of Interest

Hello, Bbazos. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you have an external relationship with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Talk:Minhas Craft Brewery, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

Manjit Minhas

Hello Bbazos, I have no problem with your Manjit Minhas and I wouldn't delete it this time. As long as you aren't copying from other websites and you have no conflict of interest, I guess it should be okay. Adam Bishop (talk) 06:52, 20 July 2015 (UTC)

May I suggest adding a link to your sandbox (or any other topic you wish to discuss)? It helps others locate the page. Just add [[User:Bbazos/sandbox]] which generates: User:Bbazos/sandbox (leave out the nowiki, that's to make the code visible for your reference).
Also, I would suggest using {{cite web}}, {{cite book}}, {{cite journal}} (magazines) for your citations. They go between the <ref>{{cite web...}}</ref>. You can also "reuse" citations (see Help:Footnotes#Footnotes: using a source more than once. The first would be <ref name="Short name here"> citation... </ref> and subsequent cites: <ref name="Short name here"/> (without the </ref>) Note the slash "/" on the subsequent cite. Some notes about the article attempt:

• Wikipedia is never a source for Wikipedia. In fact, it's best to never use user generated sites, such as Trip Advisor.
• Right now, it looks like there's a lot of WP:UNDUE weight on the brewery's website.
• Notability is established by sources specifically about the brewery (see WP:GNG). This is not accomplished by sources which only mention the brewery among 49 others, only discuss its founders in passing, or only discuss its predecessors.

Hi @Bbazos,

I was wondering if you had any time to review an article I re-submitted to AFC, David E. Olson. I am reaching out to you because you approved a previous article I submitted, Psychoplastogen. I wrote another article for the professor that coined the term psychoplastogen (David E. Olson) so the topics are related. I’ve been working to get the article approved since last year but faced some delays due to my own schedule and sourcing proper citations, but I feel the advice I received from the previous two editors has helped me revise the article to be more worthy of Wikipedia and even includes citations from Forbes & The New York Times.

I reached out to the last editor that declined the submission to ask if she was available to review my edits but it seems like she is very busy with work and other priorities at this time, so I decided to reach out to you. Please let me know if you can take a look.

Hi @HHA LTP,

I’ve reviewed this draft and in my opinion I believe this meets Wikipedia’s notability standard for [[Wikipedia:Notability (academics)]]. Additionally I reviewed the comments made by the previous editors that declined the article and I believe you have addressed their feedback. The sources appear to be reliable, if not generally notable, notable within the industry (ie: peer reviewed journals). I did notice that a few of the articles include David E Olson as an author (which may be viewed as [[WP:OR]]) however it appears these are peer reviewed articles published in peer reviewed journals and several other authors contributed to these articles. Lastly, the Wall Street Journal article (I found very interesting!) is an Opinion piece, so technically it would not be a [[reliable source]] however you are using it in conjunction with a citation from Forbes. Honestly, sometimes, I feel like interpreting Wikipedia policies is like interpreting the US constitution (LOL) in the sense that there are several interpretations of the same statement so another Wikipedia editor might feel differently than I do. However, I am going to continue doing my best to try and adhere to all the Wikipedia guidelines, and learn along the way. In summary, I moved the article to Main Namespace and I look forward to advances David E Olson makes in this field. On a more personal note, depression and anxiety are conditions people close to me struggle with and I find this particular therapeutic approach very interesting. Thanks again for reaching out.
