- If Heidi is public domain, then it is okay to post, but Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. Therefore, this is not an appropriate place to post it. However, Wikipedia has a sister project Wikisource, a free library. That would be a very appropraite place to put it. I have an account there too. If I can help, just let me know. -- Psy guy Talk 23:56, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
- I have created the page for you. Here is the URL. http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Heidi I will leave it to you to format. - Psy guy Talk 00:19, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
Hi Belginusani! Say, the image of Kyle Chavarria is probably only only allwed under "fair use", which means it can be used to illustrate topicsdirectly germane to the picture - sich as the Kyle Chavarria article itself, or perhaps the "Little House On the Paraire" article, etc. It probably can't be used generally for anything., in contrast to the previous pic, whioch is licesnedunder the GNU license (the license for a picture can bee seen by going to the picture's oage, which you can do by clicking on the picture. Reverts
editHi Belginusanl,
I've reverted a number of edits where you've stuck photos of your children into every article you could think of. Please don't. - Gobeirne 09:51, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
- Ditto for me too; please don't add random photos.--Sadi Carnot 04:50, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

License tagging for Image:Detroit Zoo 2006 little girl.JPG
editThanks for uploading Image:Detroit Zoo 2006 little girl.JPG. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Hi - noticed that a little while back you tagged some articles for inclusion in the cd project. Please put these tags on the talk page rather than the article page - as that is the appropriate place, and all of the tags you added had to be moved by someone. thx - Trödel 13:24, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

editI'm nominating this image for deletion. There is too much information about the child contained in the file name, and even more information on the image page. This is contrary to the spirit of COPPA. Also, the child's name was included in the caption in the article child where the image was used. I don't understand why you would want to include this kind of information. If someone used this information to harass the subject, Wikipedia could be liable. Warning
editEnough with uploading the improperly licensed or otherwise inappropriate images of children. Any more and you'll be blocked without further warning. Herostratus 08:36, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

editI've blocked this account indefinitely. Wikipedia can't have pictures of identified minors in its articles. --Tony Sidaway 18:26, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
And let's simply delete them all immediately, no need for the tedium of an AfD. Looking at the users track record, these are probably all copyvios at a minimum.--Jimbo Wales 10:53, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
