The article Joe Brucato has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. --Darkwind (talk) 19:50, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
Edit tags at Joe Brucato
editHello, you really should not remove the edit tags, for "unreferenced" and "self-published" at the Joe Brucato article because they are legitimate signals of issues that can be improved by the Wikipedia community. The tags are not a stigma, in fact they are they to help draw community attention to the article's current shortcomings. It is bad Wikipedia behavior to remove those notices without fixing the associated problems. DOOMSDAYER520 (Talk|Contribs) 00:03, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry if you misread the tone of either my comments or the procedure to possibly delete the article. I have nothing against Joe Brucato or your article but Wikipedia has developed procedures over time, and there are precedents that you'll figure out as you participate more. The main issues here are biographies of living people and reliable sources. To avoid having comments all over the place, it can all be discussed at the deletion discussion here: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Joe Brucato. Hopefully other people will soon join in. Speedy deletion nomination of Swallow All Of You
editA tag has been placed on Swallow All Of You requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Speedy deletion tags
editPlease do not remove speedy deletion tags from pages that you created. Add "{{hangon}}" under the tag and provide your reasoning to keep the article on its talk page. Thank you. --Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars (talk) 00:00, 9 May 2010 (UTC)
