Sorry about this edit. I realise I accidentally attached some sources that weren’t relevant to the topic. I’m new to Wikipedia editing and simply made a mistake. Sorry about this. Big ol Ash (talk) 17:26, 27 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Alicia Garza. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 20:52, 13 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

This is not a personal view, she has said that she was a Marxist multiple times, I don’t appreciate your bullshit claims. Big ol Ash (talk) 23:38, 15 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
I would like to see a quote of her saying explicitly she's a Marxist. 'Cause all I can see in the literature is some Fox News conjecture about it, especially a rant from Niger Innis last week. Otherwise, there's just Garza talking about her sociology class in school and what she learned about Marx and Lenin, how social movements have used them "as a foundation to interrupt these systems that are really negatively impacting the majority of people."[1] She definitely doesn't say she's a Marxist. Here’s some sources, most notably the one on blackpast.org, which is a site dedicated to the history of African-Americans. https://www.blackpast.org/african-american-history/garza-alicia-1981/ https://anglicanmainstream.org/civil-rights-leader-marxist-philosophy-of-black-lives-matter-org-will-harm-our-communities/ https://www.discoverthenetworks.org/individuals/alicia-garza/ https://thefederalist.com/2020/06/12/why-supporting-black-lives-matter-is-anti-christian-and-anti-life/ Big ol Ash (talk) 13:49, 17 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
