Birdy god
Welcome!
Feel free to write on here if you want to communicate with me. I would like to start communicating with others with simular interests i.e. football(soccer), and other things on my member page. I need to learn how to report vandalism because it is starting to irritate me, so anyone feel free to help me out. Birdy (talk) 21:58, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- Try looking around in WP:EAR, and leave a message if you're dealing with persistent vandalism from one particular user or in a specific article. If you're just reverting random acts of vandalism from various users in different articles, it's probably not worth getting worked up over; instead, leave a warning on the offending user's talk page at your discretion. Good luck. Beemer69 chitchat 22:12, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks I will check it out. The offending person is mainly focousing on the Deco page. Putting another teams coaches and team name attached to his article. Birdy (talk) 22:22, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
Premier League fixtures
editYou cannot place future Premier League fixtures on Wikipedia as the fixtures are copyrighted by the Premier League, and their presence on here could result in legal action being taken against Wikipedia. – PeeJay 22:42, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the information I will keep that in mind for future edits! Birdy (talk) 15:21, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
Cycling team nations
editIt's actually not my opinion, but it's the result of a pretty clear consensus - User talk:Nosleep/Style guide/Short stage race#Two more MOS considerations. I'm in the process of writing style guides for many types of cycling articles. You're welcome to come help build the consensus, if you like. Nosleep break my slumber 19:48, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you for the information. I guess it is my opinion that I like to know what nation the cycling team is coming from. Birdy (talk) 14:18, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
Re: 2010 Serie A
editHey,
I placed the order Copa Libertadores first because it is the primary/more important South American competition than the Copa Sudamericana. I didn't place any qualification for Liga de Quito since they did not qualify to the tournament through the league. Hope that answers your questions. Digirami (talk) 00:52, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
- Take a look at the format section under International qualification. Digirami (talk) 01:30, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
American Soccer Archives Invitation
editI recently came across your numerous edits to the 2010 New York Red Bulls season page and noticed you're a United States soccer fan. I'm an administrator at a American soccer website focused on the archiving of the history of American soccer history through text, statistics, images and videos. We recently started a wiki in order to create a more detailed and personal record of American soccer history and current events. We would love for you to contribute to the ASA Wiki as a supplement to Wikipedia. The two most important articles I would love to see developed are a page covering the upcoming friendly against Argentina at the New Meadowlands Stadium and another outlining the online American soccer community, but feel free to contribute to any other pages.
If you have any questions or comments feel free to leave a message on my talk page on Wikipedia or on the ASA Wiki. We also have a forum for more general questions.
You smell
editYou know that wasn't a major. --FourteenClowns (talk) 02:38, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
- It still is considered a major but I agree with your point. It was unfortunately sanctioned by the USGA. Birdy (talk) 02:40, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
