Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Kuruluş: Osman, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Hanım. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Proposed deletion of Fatma Hatun

edit

The article Fatma Hatun has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This book [2] does indeed state on p33 that Osman had at least one daughter, but that's it. WP:GNG is very far away. No good sources, no article.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 15:25, 27 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Also, if you intend to keep editing WP, you should learn about WP:RS and how to add citations correctly (see WP:TUTORIAL on how), if you want to make articles that can "stick" on en-WP, this is essential. No good sources, no content. Good sources for articles about history are history-books. See also WP:BACKWARD and WP:YFA. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 15:30, 27 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

One reason Ertugrul and his relatives are so good for drama is that there is very little established fact about much of their lives, so the scriptwriters can fill their lives with whatever they want without necessarily going outside established history. They do that anyway of course, since history is often slow and boring. And they're not making documentaries, but quite successful crowd-pleasers. "History as it should have been" is I think the goal.
Like Mehmet Bozdağ said: "There is no certainty in this historical data. But history has a soul. We think that we describe the spirit of the 13th century in history. We are shaping a story by dreaming." That's fine for story, but history is something else. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 17:50, 27 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Kuruluş: Osman into List of Kuruluş: Osman characters. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. Nobody (talk) 08:45, 7 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

What is your rationale for removing sourced content from the article Yıldız Çağrı Atiksoy? It appears to be a case of WP:OWN at this point, whereby you pretty much don't let anyone else edit the article. Also beware of the WP:3RR rule. Which you are in danger of violating.
