Vandals
editNo, I don't like vandals, either. You might like to read WP:Vandalism for some ideas about how you can help. --Russ (talk) 17:27, 9 September 2008 (UTC)

Talking to users
editI notice some of you have been leaving messages for various Wikipedia users on their user pages. This is not correct behaviour: the user page is for the user to talk about themselves. There is a separate talk page for leaving messages on. Notice, for instance, that I have left this message on my page User talk:Bmoc2012tms, not on the page User:Bmoc2012tms.

Trust Wikipedia
editIt has occoured to me that many persons do not trust Wikipedia due to the fact that anyone can edit it. I think we should advertise that we constantly chech sources and cites. Many people think that we do not have the capeablilty to check all edits. We should allow the general public to know of our technologies to prevent and reverse vandalisim and the punishments of offenders. We are not trusted by all but I believe in Wikipedia to make it happen. Someone could start a project to do these things.
P.S. Pass this message to every single wikipedia user starting with the project council

The material you have added to my talk page and that of others seems to me to be pure spam. The Project is not well thought through. If you want to start a Project, I suggest you just do so and see how it works. I certainly have no intention of doing what you requested on my talk page. --Bduke (Discussion) 21:05, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
This is your only warning about spamming other users. The next time you advertise other ventures, you will be blocked from editing, either way (talk) 21:33, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
Recent messages
editHi Bmoc, can you please explain a little about your message? While I don't think it's spam per se, I do agree with Either way that posting it on every user's page is excessive and unnecessary. If you tell me what your ideas are and what you're hoping to accomplish, perhaps we can figure out a more appropriate place for you to post to get the best and most helpful feedback. Thanks. Possibly unfree File:Korea.jpg
editA file that you uploaded or altered, File:Korea.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. If the file's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the file description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you object to the listing for any reason. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 20:47, 18 October 2015 (UTC)
The file File:Camp Tracey.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unused, low-res, redundant to File:Camp Tracy 1971.jpg.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 07:41, 11 March 2023 (UTC)
