Speedy deletion nomination of Owen Shroyer

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Owen Shroyer requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Owen Shroyer. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.   Hello, Bob yo, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as Alks taboulet (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. User:CanonNi (talkcontribs) 23:49, 16 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

I do not. I have had my wikipedia account for years and it is insulting that you can accuse me of such a thing. I have invited friends that know about the school to contribute to the article. It is not a multiple account. It is a friend of mine that is able to contribute. Why do you have such a vendetta against me? Bob yo (talk) 02:43, 17 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
What exactly in my editing patters may indicate such an accusation? I am not even active on Wikipedia like I used to be. I've only had to come back thanks to you causing trouble to an article about a place that means a lot to me and friends of mine. Bob yo (talk) 02:44, 17 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
I'm not 'causing trouble'. Nominating articles for deletion is part of what I do here. As for the article itself, you're welcome to participate in the discussion and give your reasons for keeping the article. In addition, you inviting your friends to edit the article might be considered meatpuppetry. User:CanonNi (talkcontribs) 02:52, 17 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
You really don't get it do you? Why do you even care. This is a small school that we attended to years ago that nobody knows about and this article HELPS bring light to it's existence in the community when you google its name. And it is not "meatpuppetry" I have not recruited him to my "cause". I have asked someone that is knowledgeable on the school to contribute. As simple as that. This article as small as it may be is important for the community in Richmond. Especially the French community as small as it is. Why do you have to target it specifically? Bob yo (talk) 02:57, 17 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Like I've said multiple times earlier, you're welcome to participate in the discussion and give your reasons there. User:CanonNi (talkcontribs) 02:59, 17 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
